Sure, I'd pay that for a haechi. At that price, it's worth it. For a fujin, not so much.
Add attachment has gone! However, currently have an offer to buy a fujin for the low low price of $19.99 from the shocking price of $139.99. Would anyone ever have bought it for that?!? Heachi for $19.99, sure, it's so OP it would actually be worth that. $139.99 (why not just round it up?) No.

I just bought the Fujin. I've seen it in battle, and properly equipped, it can hold it's own. I missed getting it in the previous sale and got the Rhino and Raijin instead. Ran out of funds. I also picked up an Ancile yesterday for $7. Considering World of Tanks sells some tanks for $60-$100, I though the Pixonic price quite reasonable. And I really don't care if people think what I buy is crap. It's my money and I spend it the way I please.

The Fujin is one of the few bots that can give the dashes problems because the ancile is so strong, most dashes run orkans and orkans have problems finishing off a Fujin with a full ancile.

The Fujin only costs a few dollars because it's not so good and it's also really easy to obtain with in-game currency. To be fair, it would have been much better for you to pick all those 0.99 cent-600 gold offers, in order to buy all the 5 slots and/or a Taran Ancilot, which is much stronger than the Fujin. Of course, you can spend your money as you wish and I hope you'll enjoy your Fujin! I use it for fun sometimes, I would love a HP buff for it.

I have been enjoying myself with what is available with Silver purchases or the sale bots I can afford. Understand, I only play this game for "funsies". Since there is no cash reward for doing well, I see no point in spending large amounts of cash to buy a bot that may be temporarily OP, just to have it knocked down by a nerf or a weapon that can destroy it. I only play FBGR and regularly run into dash bots. I don't hold them in awe or have a particularly hard time destroying them. And some are level 12s. Focus fire from just 2 of the right FREE bots can toast them rather quickly. You say you "use the Fujin for fun sometimes". My bots are for fun ALL the time. Just like World of Tanks, War Robots is only a game, not a job or a life's work. One must always keep things in perspective.

I have fun with my best bots too, and trust me, I've never dropped a single cent on this game. But when I win I enjoy the game more, so I tend to run the best bots available for F2P players (specifically Lancelot and Griffin).

Man if they'd drop all bots but the newest down to that price... with the newest costing about 30$... they might just surprise themselves with how much they make... I feel like the Russian addage "Quantity has a quality all of its own," applies to purchases, too.

But there is more than just me on a team. You may kill me, but it will take a LONG time with my hit points, and I will do considerable damage to you. You won't last long after I die.

And I really don't care if people think what I buy is crap. It's my money and I spend it the way I please. You can buy 850 WSP for 118 gold every day. Along with 540 daily "free" WSP (only silver) it takes just 10 days to collect the Fujin, at the cost of 1180 gold. Or, if you prefer to save gold, buy only 400 WSP for 44 gold. Then you'll need 14 days but only 440 gold. So the offer is kinda OK, but with some patience you can get it at half that price.
It's up to you whether you'll consider the given "discounts" as a cheap scam to get people to buy the stuff. Me, I take offense at that. But I have been a member of the "enough is enough" club for a long time. Those prices ($20 for a bot) are reasonable, but the problem is that the most of this stuff is not competetive in higher leagues. Other games will give you equipment that inferior as free for f2p players.
Among all those offers, I'd only have a second look at the Ancile for $8 or whatever. But keep in mind that Anciles are/were common giveaways in events.

The price has nothing to do with stats, it's the fact this game is pretty old and we've seen the same ?poo-poo? over and over.
They will follow the same old cycle. Nerf the old and release the new. Right now the chances of this game going MLG are zero. It WAS heading in a great direction, in 2015.
That said, I still play for fun. I like mechs, and the original bots are still my favorites. Shame it's just a cash grab.

Pix's WSP item value calculations have been flawed ever since WSP came out. Running in here to shout how inflated Pix WSP values are is like screaming excitedly that grass is GREEN!!!!
No it's not a new super crazy ruskie money grab or an area 51 level conspiracy.

A Raijin dies in seconds against an Orkan Haechi, and if you equip Tridents you won't even be able to damage it before it gets you. Well, you need more than just speed to catch an experienced Raijin pilot. Folks who think like you are the ones that go down first with their presumably op Orkan Heachies. You won't be able to even get to a Raijin in many situations, there are spots, which Raijin pilots can use to get an advantage over other bots, like Valley and Powerplant buildings roofs, bridge roof in Yamatau, Moon map (all the map is like made for Raijin) and others. Don't be fooled by the fact that Raijin is not used in Champion league that much, it's more a team player and is not so useful if your goal is to get over 1 million damage each match. Although, I got my first million running trident Raijin in TDM (it was active most of the match). Also, by what i have read here in forum, the advantages and disadvantages of a Raijin are written wrong, mixed up and in all other kinds of not related to Raijins at all, i guess people just get some bad experience with it and put it back in stock without even learning to pilot it right, so, I'm in much doubt if there's even one correct Raijin analysis here. For an example, it took me at least 100 - 200 matches to learn to pilot it, it was my 5th slot bot when i just bought that slot and had nothing else to put in it. Also, Tridents on it are very good if you want to stay mobile most of the time - go in bastion only while shooting them. Still, I learn new things about it every battle, e.g. Yesterday i was holding to the edge of top of moon maps lower tunnel entrance, nobody could shoot me there. Next thing reds saw was giant spider falling on one of them. Took out 3 of them by surprise (with help of teammates, of course, but nobody of us got seriously hurt). Things like this happen every game.

They tend to impress me all the time, when I'm facing the business end of the Orks. Sure your opponent were hitting you properly and sure their Orks were at least level 10? Usually 3* Orks is enough to wipe the floor with one red guy and harm another one badly. If you have some seconds for reload, you can even wipeout two reds within 15 seconds, no questions asked. 3* Orks is the best close range setup regarding burst damage.
