As we all know, Beacon Rush is about, well, rushing the beacons. The game can be won in the first 30 seconds. When played right. So here we are on Powerplant, our spawn is south of the shipwreck, red's is on the hill. I open with the Gareth and head to B, ignoring A as I have no jump. Then I head right toward the enemy spawn and grab D, succeeding, but getting killed in the process. Which then of course brings up the map to select the spawn point. I look to see where the enemy is, and my first thought is "where the hell are they?" Oh, there they are. A skirmish line up on the hill. LOL

It seems worse with the event which makes NO sense.
Twice today on SF I capped farm, centre and Dam and not a single red or blue ever left the spawn.
I won the game for my team both times without even cracking 100k damage!!

You know, I used to play Beacon Rush all the time, and now I avoid it completely and just play Domination all the time.

I love playing beacon rush! I always play it, haven't touched the domination button in over 2 months. I guess I like it because its high risk, high reward scenario. If you play it right, then you can win in about a minute. If even one mistake occurs, like ignoring the far off home beacon in Springfield, Yamantau or even Shenzen can lose the game.
I do hate it when there is that one red who doesn't drop their bot for a minute just to drop it when you go to turn it blue. It happens, so that's why I don't go near red beacons with a light bot unless I am 200% sure that NO RED will ambush me. Its also why I only run gareths and stalkers. They are probably the best light beacon cappers IMHO, because of gary's shield and stalker's stealth. Course, they both don't do much against splash but its something.

The way to win beacon rush is: A - Rush the beacons (natch) B - If you're going to snatch an enemy beacon, do it two or preferably threes. That way if a single bot spawns you can deal with the threat Remember. Two is One. One is None.

I like Beacon Rush because I can move around the map quicker with my slow heavies after re-spawning. I always try to get 2 or 3 beacons quickly with my Destrier to give my 'mates more time to kill.

LOL When you are playing the event tasks, the best way to play is to lose the games where you need to kills and beacons, to increase your chances of winning the games where you need you wins. Thus when you need to X amount of kills, it makes sense to do something like camp with Trebs and pick people off.

Fully reloaded, with jump or rush available of course.

During kill tasks, it is better to steamroll than sitting Trebs waiting to KS. Take quick lead, spawn Taran Orkan Thunder Punishers at Red home base, easy 10 kills per game. Cap beacon alone will tank you enough down to offset your win and kill league points growth.

Kumiho is the beacon rush game winner. It helps a lot to have a 30 sec 4 to 1 beacon lead and match finish in 3 mins. Best way to grind the win tasks.

I'm a beacon rush fan and I excel at beacon rush since my hanger can both capture and defend a beacon. Rogatka and Rhino usually are my main beacon cappers while Leo and Raijin can defend a beacon and usually crush the opposition. Carnage is kind of a grey area as it can both capture and defend a beacon but it's not the best at either but with the ability and firepower it usually overcomes this. As far as I know the dash bots usually beat me to the beacons but if they try to capture a beacon under my team they usually face off with my Leo or Raijin, I usually win but if theres two I have a hard time defending.

Can't be bothered playing BR, every time I go to take a beacon my bot dies or if I stand off waiting for them to spawn a team mate takes the beacon with nothing happening to him. So bloody frustrating when you just fought off 1, 2 or 3 reds for the damn beacon. I play Domination or if they bring back TDM I'll play that to not have to worry about beacons.
