When you deliberately use low level bots with high level weapons (that other players would not be able to obtain) to play in lower levels where you have an unfair advantage against your enemy. Good examples are 4 / 9 - 12 Mag / Aphid / Pinata Gepards, 1 / 8 Mag / Aphid / Pinata Gepards, and 4 / 9 Boa Thunder Taran / Orkan.

It is one or all of these 3:
1. Experienced pilots (levels 28-30) playing at lower tiers (beginner, bronze, etc) with better weapons than what are available to the typical (lvl 15-25) pilots at those levels. They tend to win every match in order to get gold and silver in a low risk way (farming). Or
2. Pilots who run all gep line ups no matter the tier as the Gep is a premium gold bot capable of carrying level 12 light weps and has high health, speed and maneuverability. It is considered to be over powered relative to the competition in bronze and silver tiers.
3. Any experienced pilot who runs equipment below what is in their hanger (i.e., has gold level equipment but runs silver)
MM and game changes will most likely be making all of these things less of an issue in the future, especially #1 and #2
Cheers!

Will soon be a thing of the past, maybe.
Odds are someone will find a way to continue the practice.

Is it considered clubbing if I use base lvl bots and weapons? I ran a base level punisher Patton hangar once for silver farming and I realised that I wiped the floor with newbies. Every single time. I then started worrying if this was clubbing, cause I really don't want to affect the flow of new players to this game

Very easy to break but death to the first person around the corner.

I swapped out to my Bronze clubbing hangar and MM certainly has changed things. Instead of facing light-medium bots of varying skill, I'm now only facing medium-heavy bots of horrible skill. Games take a bit longer, but my win rates have actually improved and now I'm getting a ton more Ag. Thanks, Pix!

However seal clubbing is the only way to farm the game and to build a strong hangar in a year.. If you are not seal clubbing you either will spend $1000 plus or you will never make it to the top lvls with top bots and top weps to match. I've been playing 9 months and by the time I get to a year I will have a pretty large multiple option top bot hangar for gold . I farm about 300 - 500 gold every day to pull this off. I have also spent $350 on this game in that period.
This game is at its core a farming game like Clash of Clans Game of War etc.... if they remove that from the game there wil be a mass exodus and massive loss of revenue for pixonic because the majority of hardcore players like to farm these games
IMO the reason seal clubbing/farming is so unbalanced is because there are LOTS of lazy pilots or pilots who don't play enough to get a feel for all the robot types weapon types end up sticking with zenits nordicums and other sniper weps on a natasha. These players are horrible and if there are 2 or 3 natasha on a team then I can almost guarantee a loss for that team.
Pixonic would be best served by finding ways to discourage natasha and sniper uses because there are way to many of them and way to many sniper type options for them to think they are getting better because they can last 5 minutes in game instead of 3 minutes

How did you manage the Silver intake - dud you run dry? 300-500 Au a day is huge and 350$ (whether in Aus or USA is a lot of money in a short period of time) is a tens of thousands of Au. This should have gotten you to all 12/12 on all your top gear stuff in 9 months and I'm curious to know what that's gets you.

It doesn't come close to getting you 12/12 unless you only focus on 5 bots and only 5 bots and one set of weapons for each
I started this game like everyone else feeling it out trying all kinds of bots and weapons. Then I was introduced tot he 4/12 set up and had to work towards that. ... I have also upgraded a lvl 6 bot gold teir and lvl 9 bot gold teir that is now working its way up to 11.. I stil lhave most heavy and mid lvl weapon options at 9.. Each upgrade for a lvl 10 11 or 12 wep is about 500 gold +++ a piece to instant upgrade. I have 12k gold saved up for bots. Any gold over 12k I use to speed up upgrades...
I have lots of options but nothing maxed yet.. This game changes every few months with updates. Wouldn't want to be stuck with the same options so I do lots of upgrading..
I also enjoy farming.. Right now I need 200 more gold and my thunder 10 will complete close to 36 hourrs early and it will immediately be upgraded to 11 and I wil farm the gold until I have enough to finish that upgrade rinse and repeat
as for hangar
3 geps lvl 4 with lvl 12 weps. 1 aphids 1 mag 1 pinata, rog lvl 4 2 lvl 9 orks and 2 tarans 9 available, 1 lvl 4 golem lvl 9 thunder lvl 9 mag lvl 9 taran
my lvl 6 gold hangar has multiple options griffin with lvl 9 hydras and ahpids, leo lvl 9 aphids lvl 9 thunder, lvl 6 carnage with lvl 11 zeus or tridents or soon double 11 thunders, lvl 6 gep I throw lvl 12 aphids on
my lvl 9 hangar right now I am focusing on what I calling my al aces line up.. all bots and weps will be upgraded to 11. This is to keep me just under the very top tier while i go through a learning curve. Fury, carnage galahad lancelot and a patton with 4 12 crvs are 1st choices I have a rhimno but might scrap it.. Not a big fan.. Weps zeus 11, tridents 11, mags 11, aphids 11, thunder 11, tarans 11,, I can always grab some light wep 12 options from my other bots
ALSO I have 4 gekkos at 9 .. 3 trebs at 9 punishers and punisher T's at lvl 8

Skill and experience still matter even when your bots are still the same as the rest. and I dont know what you mean by "base level". So level 1 bot and level 1 punishers?

In clash of clans, you can because there is no primium troops you can get with gems. You are like a kid in a candy store. Save you gold for slots, them weapons then bots. Never use it to speed up stuff.

I do believe that the seal clubbers With the intentional game drops to tank their scores to face easier opponents, have now morphed into Blue Falcons. You guys are really startin to burn my bacon. I just had a match with 2 guys from know clubber clans drop in blue on us. That is the fourth time today. You guys need to sack up.

Seal clubbing is something most refuse to admit to, but are fast to point at others usually not in levels they are playing. Clubbing is taking a massively upgraded bot to its limits and using it against low levels. Most jump on board blaming the geps with level 9/12 weapons in the old bronze/low silver. The largest clubbing comes from max 12's playing against 4/6 levels. This now has been opened up more so these guys can go into start levels with max 12s, with the new MM. Really what this is all about for the most part is the max 12 clans couldn't hang with the gep clans, even when they were being given level 4/6 bot competition with their max hangers. They could not club as well as the Geps.

A full team of the TECH Warriors clan on iOS coming after your team of 4 random's. And perhaps 2 smart quitters.
Capture beacon, Shoot, kill 1, die, new bot, shoot, kill 1, die, crap their here, try to run, shoot, kill 2, die, new bot, too many targets, try to shoot at all, wow I got 1, die, last bot, last man standing, view area, hope your pointing in the right direction. Unload weapons, die, lose.
January 25th, 2017 around 9:00 am EST.
Taps are heard playing in the distance.

As far as I'm concerned, Tier camping is a form of seal clubbing as well. It matters little if it is 4/8-9 lights, or 4/8-9 mediums. If you stop building at the top of the tier and only enter a new tier when your bots leveled in the background are at the tier ceiling, that's a form of clubbing as well. It was also a very smart way to play in the old MM system. It has hurt us a lot in the new MM however.
