Three per match can be stored, and it's a common pool across all the places they can be used.

1 ad per match played and up to 3 can be stored. In addition there may be a timer that re-enables ads after a while but I'm not 100% sure.

Related topic - does anyone know what controls when you are offered 50% extra loot for watching an ad? I was only offered it once, when I had earned just under 100k Ag for an abysmal performance. I have never received the offer when playing with Royale Premium nor for several other non-Premium matches.
