I’m iOS and late last night saw ad options for the first time. Is there a concrete pattern to their appearance? I didn’t follow many discussions when it came out for Android because without the feature it can be frustrating to understand.
Anyways here’s what I’m wondering...
1 Is there a specific number of ads each day after which ads are no longer an option?
2 Assuming 1 is correct, what time of day do the ads reset with a fresh count?
3 What triggers when we have to play a battle to get a new ad?
4 Sometimes the ad or ‘play 1 battle’ option doesn’t show until I click around to a different screen and come back. Is this a bug?
I have two accounts and when ads first appeared, on one account I had the ‘win 3 battles with squad mates’ task, but no clan on this account. So I experimented with an ad on this task and was able to play 3 ads in a row to clear the task (each ad applying 1 squad mate battle). Only then did it switch to ‘play 1 battle’ to get another ad.
But on my other account, after playing the first ad it switched to ‘play 1 battle’. Why not 3 ads in a row like before?
Since that initial discrepancy it’s been 1 to 1: play 1 ad, play 1 battle for ad option, repeat. I’ve played several battles and the ad but haven’t exhausted the ‘play 1 battle’ option. Does it get exhausted?
I’m not looking to play a bunch of ads, I just want to better understand the mechanic so I can judge when and where to best apply them.
