1. Love the new map. Totally minimizes the edge that d-bots have and favors long range but it's such a cool map that I doubt the whales will complain much. Important to note that Pix can make up some ground rebalancing by doing things like changing the maps. 2. Don't mind the opt-in commercials. Nice to be able to speed upgrades and handle tasks by watching playing a commercial. Seems like the value is around 5 Au or 1 game, depending on the task. Sorta a constant reminder of how lame most video games are though. 3. Anyone using a second hangar? I have one but not using yet. See below... 4. Looking for hangar advice. I got a 2nd hangar in the giveaway and filled it with bots that I think might be good for short and mid-range, given that my main hangar setup leans more mid-to-long range. Here are my two hangars. In terms of other bots I have several a couple of 6 natty's, 6 leo's, 9 gareth and a 7 griff. In terms of weapons I have a tempest 4 and 4 lvl 6 aphids, an 8 thunder, orkan, 2 tridents, 2 trebs 3 mags, molots, punishers and Noricum. Can anyone offer some suggestions on how/whether to split these up with the idea of using second hangar in dead city and valley and main hangar in all other maps. I will tend to keep level of bots to average 8/8 to 10/12 for purpose of bumping around E leagues for awhile. I think what I have looks pretty good but maybe it would be better to just run 1 hangar. But there are a lot of experienced folks here so... how bout it, any advice? H1: 9/9 Orkan kumiho, 11/9 tempest carnage, 8.5/9 tarancilot, 7/9 scourge ancilot, 8/8 tempest-gekko leo H2: 7/7 pdb griff, 6/8 spiral-hydra griff, 7/8 PunT Rog, 10/7 Thunder Carnage

1) I haven’t formed a proper opinion of the map as haven’t had enough map time. One thing I noticed, it was a nightmare for the kumiho when going left after spawning. Bog down points everywhere. So yeah, not dash friendly ;-) 2) Thumbs up from me personally for the ads esp as they are opt in. No need to spend as much gold on upgrades. But the outcome will be that everyone will be utilising it so the net benefit may be marginal (ie, we watch ads for nothing because everyone is doing it and hence the overall net benefit is not much). I think silver just became even more important with this move. Faster the upgrades more silver you need and hence the value of premium just went up. Overall this will benefit those the most who play a lot and pay for Premium. I suppose there is nothing wrong with that as it’s a fair mechanism. You play more you get more. For those who play a lot but haven’t got the budget of a whale the increased upgrade speed will close the gap a bit. 3) Haven’t got one and not intending to get one. Cant fill two competitive hangers and don’t have the resources to level two competitive hangers. This is a blue whale thing. 4) Can see images from where I am.

Changed post to include text of hangar. On point 3, I kinda decided to stay in E leagues and to keep level of bots and weapons so range is 8-10. I'd like to use hangar b/c I got free and I have several bots I like that are benched so for me this is a good solution so long as I am not always outgunned. But b/c I have some component weapons I always seem to be against C and M level players even though I am only E3 so perhaps your idea of only running 1 hangar is a good one. I built that first hangar to be a generalist hangar for this meta and this approach was improved in new release b/c of scourge and tempest buffs as well as map.

At the end of the day, running two hangers will give you more options and an advantage IMO. however maintaining and levelling two hangers will cost you twice as much. Thus the biggest question is - can you afford it. Should you level both than you are not optimising the levelling of your primary hanger. I would argue that the net benefit from concentration on one hanger is higher than if you were to concentrate on two. Provided you don't have the RM for this issue to be sent away.

How are you liking the Tempest Gekko Leo? I found it a bit underwhelming compared to Zeus Gekko Leo.

Got the 2nd hanger thanks to these forums, don't have enough bot / weapons levelled up enough to play in Champion (to win). Like T34 said it's hard enough to get my primary hanger levelled up let alone double the bots / weapons, thinking about just using 2nd hanger for six pack league. Oh I like the new map it's made for knife fighters. No ads in Gameroom

How are you liking the Tempest Gekko Leo? I found it a bit underwhelming compared to Zeus Gekko Leo.. I like it. It's really a way to keep an extra tempest in the field while running both of my lances as ancilots. Gekko ia not ideal for tempest but it is a little better than molot since you get full dam on each contact and longer range. Most of my experience with Zeus is facing them. Get them out in the open and they are no big deal. Get them with some cover and a pilot who uses them well and they will shred you. I have been using it is an opening bot on maps where ppl like to open with energy wpn snipers so that I can clear them out b4 I bring out my tempest carnage. It's also pretty hard on beacon runners and, on the bigger maps, dashes.
