I just updated on iOS and there are two hover games. The first is the roulette game with 16 cards. The second is the pick a card with 15 cards. Does anyone know if the 15 card game will cost less gold for the 10,000 hover components?

They cost the same from my experience.
Roulette: 16 options - 4 eliminations = 12 items
Card Game: 15 options - 3 eliminations = 12 items
So with each game you're having to pay for 12 items with Pixonic luck chances. (You're going to have to pay about 10k gold and unlock all 12 items to get the final components.)
I flipped the first 10 cards in the card game, and it costs about the same per-option. Like 0, 8, etc. Also, same type of luck in my experience, silver, small components, premium, small gold, and so on.

Thanks for the info! Ended up trying the card game, and it was about 7250 AU for a hover, getting 10,000 components last. Cost me a lot less than my haechi, but, I guess you can't compare the two robots.

I knew all those 1500 gold skins were a bad idea...

Got it on tenth spin - total cost around 4000 gold. I chose the Royale one on very slight balance since I could exclude more low number component prizes since silver is more useful.

Anyone still on the fence, I got the Hover bot on the 11th spin, so that cost about 6500 gold. Is that any good? If you already have lots of gold stored then you can get the bot without RM. Keep in mind however, just because a few people get it with 8-11 spins like moses, doesn't mean you won't get stuck with all 12 spins for about 8-10k gold. Be prepared to lose that much gold. TLDR; Spin/flip cards if you have 10k+ gold and you don't mind spending it all for a Hover bot. Spend RM on components directly if you're short on gold don't get a good sale on gold. Skip using gold/RM for components if you want to wait awhile and just use WSP to obtain it. Just IMHO

I am focusing wsp on an inquisitor but also If you feel like getting a hover I think worth taking the 300 wsp hover + storm component offers. I have no intention of spending real money on this stuff so those are the decision parameters I am working with

They're really cheap (like 9k WSP for Hover) and it's ideal for the F2P player. I think is is a pricing strategy that Pixonic should use for all new content, since whales/paid players get the new content ASAP, while the F2P players still can access it through saved gold or by waiting with WSP. However, I'm sort of off topic at this point.

FWIW I played the flip a card game to get a storm to 「fake pee place」 my Boa and it cost me roughly 2,400 gold to flip every card.
Not sure if certain games/items have different gold costs as you go along, but this one seemed reasonable as I don't really use gold anymore.

Like 3300 dash components cost ~ 10k for 12 spins, while 10,000 Hover components cost ~10k (so like 3k for 3300 components of Hover). Good to know that you can obtain it pretty cheaply, but I'd still like to see it cheaper for maybe like 1800 gold? Would be more in line with the $13 asking price.

I put it out there so people have an idea of the rough cost, I guess it's that way because a lot of players like myself no longer have a need for gold bots/weapons so it sorta just accumulates. I never speed up upgrades with gold so I end up banking gold at a pretty decent rate. Up until now I haven't spent gold on anything for months unless I saw a great Inquisitor gold deal.
