I've been seeing quite a few Furys lately, either armed with 3 Trebuchets or 3 Zeus, is one inherently better than the other?
I incidentally have 2 Trebs and one Zeus i finally saved enough Au for and have been using them in unison, Is this setup any good or should i save up for a triple?

Triple Zeus is by far the best > Triple Treb > Triple Trident
Trident/Treb is debatable since sometimes the splash can hit a crowd and accumulate a lot of damage.

It's better to do all the same type of weapon since these are more further ranged type of weapons. You don't really want to mix weapons in this particular scenario. Now to which one you choose, they both are very effective and just depends on preference and your game play. The treb is definitely more far back sniper position while the zeus is a bit more on the longer range-mid range setup. GL. My 0.02.

Zeus and it's not even close. Yes, range is helpful for Treb, but (last I checked) it takes 23 seconds to fully recharge the Trebs. After only 1 more second, a Zeus Fury will have discharged 4 shots. 3 Zeuses maxed out put out ~50k damage. 3 Trebs max out at ~60k damage. If the Treb Fury fires and waits until the charge is full again, he has only done 60k damage, but the Zeus Fury has done ~200k damage.

I run a treb Zeus fury at 9/9/10 in expert 3 and it is very good. However as your range is 600 you need to be wary. As a trident fury can take a sizeable chunk out of you at the same range. Look out for RDB's as well. Even though they are 500 all they need is to Stroll to about 560 then jump and they can unload a lot of hurt. You really need to be aware of your surroundings e.g. cover, where the enemy are and what bots are out. Done correctly it is brilliant due to the fast reload and bypassing of shields

Zues by a long, long, long way. It's a bloody brilliant midranger, Mine are 11/11/12 and the damage is AWESOME.
Trebs on the other hand have some of the worst DPS in game!

Agreed with other posters: Zeus >> trebuchet for energy weapons. I would only consider Zeus or Tempest on the fury right now. Not sure which is better.

The best Fury are Zeus and Tempest.
Don’t know about the rest. All I know is Trident is last.

Zeus Fury absolutely destroys Carnages and Fujin with almost no risk - in the right situations of course. One of the funniest things I've seen is getting the drop on a Fujin at 500 - 600m. He'll have his shield up and after the first zap, he drops his shield and tries to run. That's when the knifers he was shooting at start pounding him, then he puts his shield back up, and then it's zap number two. He usually doesn't last past the 3rd zap. Another funny sight is seeing a Carnage on rush waste a blue, then slink away high on its victory, and then it's zap, wait, zap, wait, zap, dead.

I know the question is which energy weapon, but I have to say Tempest Fury is much fun. Maps like canyon, yam, springfield, and shen it shreds.

I don't own a Fury, but as from an enemy perspective, Trebuchet build works better against me.
Zeus Fury can't hurt me that much if i know where it is, only on ambush. I can hide before taking all the damage. Usually i stick my head out of corner a little, wait for the zap, then hide, so the weapons hit me only for a 1/3 of a second, if not even less, rest is wasted. Trebs on the other hand either hit me or not. Because of the fact that all damage is done in blink of an eye, i find it more dangerous, plus the distance is greater. I look forward to build a Trident Fury, when i get one, as it is the one that makes most of harm to me usually.
The question was about energy weapons on Fury, so i say put Trebs on it. Otherwise Tridents, if it's not intended to be used against bots in ancile shields.
Damage is done less with these, as others said before, but it's harder to evade their shots (the full damage of their shots, to be precise). That is why i never pick my weapons according to damage output only, i even think it's wrong, and despite the numbers in charts i think a Trident or Trebuchet Fury does more damage in a real battle situation. I'm using Tridents on a Raijin a lot, and from the situations i encountered i can say that i never would have been able to do as much damage with Zeuses, in most matches enemies don't wait in the open to get shot, but hide around corners. So, against players like me the best builds (and builds I would go for) for a Fury would be as followed:
1. Trident x3 (because of its splash dmg and ability to hit more enemies with each shot) 2-3. Treb x3 (because of it's dmg per hit and range) 2-3. Tempest x3 (because it's good against shields etc., range) 4. Nashorn x3 (range and the fact that it can shot for a while unnoticed) 5. Zeus x3 (ability to bypass ancile shields, but needs lock-on and enemies can easier evade shots) 6. Kang Dae x3 (same as Nashorn, only it's longer to reload, which is why i'm not a fan for this) 7. Ember x3 (need to be close to enemy, which doesn't suit the Fury (slow, big), but still good against shields, would put them on Carnage better, if i had some) 8. Thunder x3 (same as Ember, but without ability to bypass shields, but they are better on carnage, i think) 9. Zenit x3 (too easy to evade) 10. Ancile x3 (for lols and trolling)
And I don't think Ancile when put together with other weapons is a good option for a Fury, it just makes it a slow Carnage with extra health, and it's not worth it.

I often out damage enemy fury zeus's in my gekko leo/treb setup. It's apples and oranges really. One is mid range the other is super long range. They have very different roles and technically speaking a fury zeus can outdamage just about anything but theoretically this is only true if your enemy doesn't understand how to use cover properly.
Fury treb setup is still good but it requires some skill to use since you need to be good at quick targeting and reaction shots. With fury zeus you just have to constantly peak and shoot. If you miss one with the zeus it's less of a big deal than a treb setup which requires a long charge.
