My Lenovo Vibe X3 has got a malfunctioning display. It's totally unusable so I've invested in a Xiaomi Mi A1.
I'm not sure about the graphics capabilities compared to the Vibe X3 but I figure it can't be worse and anyway, it was the best all round device I could seemingly get within my budget as a distress purchase.
Looking at the technical specs more closely the Vibe X3 has the Adreno 418 GPU and the Mi A1 the Adreno 506 GPU. They are supposed to have similar gaming performance but this would depend on the app coding. But the 506 appears to be more power efficient, so maybe I'll be able to play more games for the battery life!
But I'm curious to know from all you others if you've noticed improvements in graphics and performance with phone upgrades. If so what devices have you moved from and to? And what improvements have you seen?

Snapdragon guide 2xx series obsolete - very low end. 4xx low to med 6xx Med - higher 8xx high end. I have a cheap Moto G5 430/505gpu no probs no slow downs on this game but the 5" screen is way too small game looks cluttered. I tried it to see how it would run. I use a amoled tablet.

Do you see shadows in-game?
