I always thought that this game was missing some sort of melee weaopon but could never really figure out how it could become viable in world of war robots. however I have been looking at my dusty/shelved rhino and I realized that an actual rhino (the animal) is not just scary because its big. Its scary because if it rams u and ur not a 20 ton elephant u are pretty much dead. with that said I think the rihino should have a ram ability as well. This would be unique to the rhino and would give players like me a reason to pull out our retired rhinos because with the buff in rocket weapons and nerf to the plasma (I agree the rhino was op at one point) its kinda not fun to play it anymore since it gets killed easier these days (atleast that's my opinion).
Also another weapon that I was thinking could be interesting as a melee weapon for the gallahad would be a plasma sword that u would have to sacrifice both light slots to equip (not during battle). However I would much rather have the gallahad get a rush ability (lol just made a thread about that check it out) than get a plasma sword that if not balanced correctly could become OP. however I feel very strong about the rhino and getting that unique ability. What do u guys think? or what weapons would make good melee weapons for bots? should there be any in the first place? I belive so. A rhino that cant ram or a knight without a sword looks weird in my opinion |

I would never ask for a medium melee weapon knowing it could be put on the dash. Lol yeah if pix's computers are getting flooded by all the hate mail imagin if they made a medium melee weapon for the dashes. OH Sh*t! we better not give them any ideas. Imagin that, the next OP melee weapon. 1000$ a piece. melts bots with two strikes. NO THANK YOU! That's why I said if anything only for the rhino and gallahad. limited to light weapon slots only.

Not too sure 0-m melee weaponry would be useful in your avg match.. I think you'll mostly have to get lucky and catch a red off-guard ;-;

Not too sure 0-m melee weaponry would be useful in your avg match.. I think you'll mostly have to get lucky and catch a red off-guard ;-; rhinos are getting weaker by the updates eventually they will become a silver only bot once pix introduces more 300$ op weapons. And in silver almost anything goes. one thing is for sure. This will be more usefull than the zenit natashas having tea parties at spawn that's for sure. this ability btw is for fun its not so u can dominate the top tiers with. |

With the Dashes the way they are, nothing else would ever be able to utilize a melee weapon effectively. u wouldn't utilize them on the dashes. and u certainly wouldn't be doing this in higher tiers. think about it. its for fun and I said this would be only for the gallahad and rhino. bronze, silver and gold (where most people are and where there are very few dashes) would certainly get to enjoy this. Its mainly for fun not to dominate the dashes lol. btw I haven't gone up to higher tiers since the dashes came out because they are a cancer. so I haven't had the chance yet to play an inquisitor. Whats your opinon on them? I rarley hear any crap about the inquisitor except for the fact that its over priced. Is it more or less of a pain to deal with than the dashes? I would guess it is since its basically a flying ancelot with the annoying ability of a stalker |

That would sound like fun. Specially since it would ignore ancile. It would also benfit shield bots. To be true to the mechanic though, the charging/dfa-ing mech would still take structural damage, but way less than the target mech.

How would a rhino ever get close enough without dying in an orkan bath? Obviously the force of the rhino charge generates some sort of kinetic shield as it blast through any bot or projectile in its path. Only question is how far does the charge go? 100m? 250m? Whether it survives much longer after the charge is another story  |

Maybe a successful 'ram' could disable an enemy bot for 3-5 seconds  Edit: Gallahad could possible have a 'shield bash' that functioned in exactly the same manner, short rush (shorter in range than the Rhino rush) and a 'ram' that disables an enemy bot for 3-5 seconds |

About the Galahad doing a 'charge' melee attack..
In a War Robots trailer featuring the brit bots, they showed Lance bashing against another bot
So maybe if they do give Galahad a bash move then would it apply to Gary? Lance?

The thunder carnage is already the melee bot of this game. Its hard enough to get close to a bot but rarely do you go face first with another bot for swordplay.
Edit: Just put a chainsaw on the Rhino's shield when raised.

In a real match going one on one with a raijin like that would get it killed in a heart beat that is if It could even get anywhere close to the raijin. IDK but it would be nice to see gary and gally viable again. not sure about the lance ramming though since its so slow. trying to ram a bot that goes 39km/hr with a bot that can only go 30km/h is kinda pointless |

And that is percisly why I said it should be a unique ability for the rhino or gallahad mabey even garry. ram (for rhino) and plasma sword(for the gallagad) and the sword would only be usable by a gallahad or garry. no medium melee weapons. I'm totally against that. I own a kumiho and agree 100% I would not want to see kumi running around with a plama sword that ignores ancils and can melt right through my ancelots physical shield. but ur right lets not give pixstalinesonic any more greedy ideas. |
