all the crap I and others talk about pay to win is right but in all honesty I was just playing a few quick games to kill some time and this game is still fun and good graphics and sound for a Sorrta free game.
I mean would I pay $300 for a dash....nope never will pay More then $10 and haven't since started but would I pay $5 tomorrow if I had to, just to keep the game ....yeah I would probably in all honestly pay up to $20 bucks but it would have to include unlocked stuff once you reached certain levels / wins / time played not certain amount of cash
just saying

I'm 100% free to play and I'm easily creeping towards a shocktrain since I've put my mind to it and the new Ad chests have really pushed me extremely close to a super chest. It's not ENTIRELY pay to win. Just that if you really want something you gotta work for it and be patient. I've obtained a hefty few thousand shocktrain components just from buying the little WSP offers, and from the free bronze chests since Ads went live. Almost got a Storm weapon as well since ads went live since the free bronze chests dish them out in large chunks.

If you want to get to the top it's a different story.

Familiarity breeds contempt. When I start to spoil on this game it’s because I played too much and have expectations. Stepping away for a day let’s recharge why I play: those moments; when a red is here and a red there, your trapped, then allied fire comes in and changes the calculus allowing a quick novel reaction and you’re flying through the air in a maelstrom of sparkly fire while throwing down a DB charge to clear the area and luckily land in cover with most of your weapons intact and your heart pounding.

I dropped from expert 1 to low diamond and have much better matched games and try new things because who cares if I win or have 900,000 damage no one really cares and it's about fun...and sometimes trollling like shooting my own guys, pushing campers off a ledge with a jump from my griffin or just putting hydras on everything and shooting them one at a time for a constant missle barrage and being a pest

This game is definitely still fun (in diamond). Anything and everything is viable. A wide variety of loadouts co-exist at varying levels.
And the moment-to-moment gameplay is still solid, despite all the surrounding gambling/overpriced donkey dookie.
Mechwarrior on a phone? I'm sold and still am.

The game is still fun. It's not as fun as it once was. Pixonic continually makes the games less and less fun unless you have $1000+ to spend. IMO, the game is almost unplayable without a squad because randoms are so hit or miss. Sometimes you get a great time. Other times you get 5 idiots who sit at spawn in 1 bot and won't even capture the damn beacon 25 feet from them while I'm battling 2 vs 1, 3 vs 1, whatever at center with no help at all.

I do not care too much about league (having been stuck in D1 for some time now). I've also never paid any real money for the game. But I like to try new builds (with what is available to me), new tactics, and just keep-a-going. The new maps keep things fresh ,and weapon and bot balance changes keep creating new possibilities. Also I'm having a new phone shipped to me today so trying the game on a new platform should be interesting.
So yeah, I'm not bored yet, and it's still a fun game.

I'm 100% free to play ... Yeah, the same here...... It's not ENTIRELY pay to win. Just that if you really want something you gotta work for it and be patient... That´s the point! I play for more than one and a half year now and I have never spent a single € into the game. But even without spending money I have built up a very nice hangar. I have a lot of gold stuff (britbots, tripple-Zeus-Fury, Orkan-Rog, Anciles, Aphids, Gekkos, etc....) and now with those component offers I did even get a Scourge. Now I focus on a Tempest. It will take some time but that´s ok, it´s not urgent to get one.

We've come all this way and finally got our Brit bots, but we came at just the right time that the end of our journey has opened up into a new one. And to all the newcomers, don't fret, get your free bronze chests and level your bots up, save your gold from leveling up and even sell components if you really have to. You've got a long road ahead of you, but it's a great game.

Yep, the game is still fun. Until you end up against a squad of Shocktrain Dashers. Then the fun dies real quick.

I landed on Green Valley, and after grabbing centre beacon, I saw we were 1 man down and the Champion guy had ditched. So I'm at the map screen for spawning, and see 1 unclaimed beacon and 3 blue dots converging at one corner. I look around to see why they were hiding in the corner already, and see 3 camper bots. At this point, I knew there was no point to attack 1v6, so I waited for them to slaughter my teammates. Then I spawned behind their backs, and took them out. The Expert Wall used to be tough, and Experts used to have skill. Now, I see them play like noobs all the time.
