One thing that intrigues me is how Pixonic will port over the robots and weapons of War Robots mobile to War Robots VR. They've said they don't want any "pay to be competitive" elements in the game and it will be for a fixed price.
So what changes? Do Light Robots get a massive speed buff? How do the Leo and Rhino fair against the Lancelot and Dash Robots? Is the Inquisitor going to still be better than the Griffin in every way? Will the Shocktrain still be ridiculous and make the game terrible?
I imagine something will have to give somewhere, unless they want everyone piloting one robot and using one weapon... and do any of these changes get ported over to War Robots mobile? Perhaps they decide instead to alter the timeline so the game is set in the future from War Robots mobile, so they can bring in new robots and weapons and balance them.

Let’s see if they can first accomplish their kickstarter first. Doesn’t look good for them right now.

It's a separate game altogether, and they've said you will pay up front for the game and receive all content. No micro transactions.

Right, but it would be weird if the balance is completely different with the same exact content, wouldn't it?
So how do they rebalance the content of the game?

It is a curious thing for sure, and will require adjustment, especially if we are playing both versions, but man, it's gonna be wicked

Their kickstarter appears bound to fail. If the game's development is dependent on a successful kickstarter i don't think it will even get made. One of their stated objectives with the kickstarter is to "gauge interest" in a very version. If they don't even hit 50% of their pledge they will just decide the audience isn't there and abandon it

I think it gauges customer trust pretty well.

They state they're releasing it in that manner (as a complete set) because there are greater expectations on the PC platform. That's great, but why not follow through with those expectations on the mobile version as well? It bugs me that Pixonic doesn't treat the two as the same simply because War Robots is a mobile game.

Agreed. I don't think there is any trust for a game developer who has failed every trust factor that the players can think of...unless it's they're gonna screw us "You can believe and trust in that!."
I cannot see any way that Pixonic would offer the full content. BUT. which would have to be unlocked a la Star Wars Battle Front II. Sure if you play a million plus games you can get everything the game has to offer...but if you want to slip us some cash we can sell you some upgrades.
Thanks to Belgium and Europe taking action against Battle Front NO game developer will do Loot Boxes but I have faith they will create something just as slimy.
