With the introduction of "free" bronze spins for watching ads the super chest has become fairly easily accessible for F2P players. When ads went live I had around 500 keys and 0 super chest progress. A few short days later, my chest bar is now 50% full. I doubt I will get the super chest this BM season because time is short but next season I fully intend to.
Here is the strategy I am currently using; use ALL ad plays on free spins, save all keys for gold chests, play at least 20 matches a day. It takes around 7k keys to open a super chest, so 20 matches = 20 free spins = 200 keys. The equivalent of 7k keys can be reached in 35 days without spending ANY keys (earned or won) the spending of which will bring it under 35 days easily.

This assumes that Pixonic will not adjust the required openings needed to fill up the super chest bar now that "free" bronze chests have been introduced. How much are you willing to bet on that not happening, all things considered?

It really slows down after 50%..I played event and got s kumiho and opened many chest ..more than worth of 3k keys but it’s not even 75% full..but I opened many bronze chefs...maybe they fill faster with gold..with silver too not much

Good advice. I am speeding my upgrade progress, but when I inevitably run out of silver because of this, I will be trying for a superchest.

Might not want to draw too much attention to this. Super chest cost might just be increased to increase revenue streams

Say you gain 20 minutes for 10 minute gameplay (including watching the ads), so even if you play for 4 hours per day, the speedup is still only 33%. Considering that we have 2 player groups, that are (a) the whales, who will just smile weakly about speeding up 8h per day, and (b) the "other" players, who will eventually be forced to play with a subpar hangar, because they would reach a league where they are whale food, so upgrading as fast as possible is not exactly a great idea.

But still, this strategy is useful even to opening silver/gold chests. A lot of prizes from bronze chests are keys, so it will make earnings for good chests much faster.

It's true, the bronze chests do certainly help a lot in getting towards the superchest. I intend to rack up 1k and buy a gold chest to help finish off the progress bar. Then depending on what prizes a I get, will determine if I blow a bunch of gold on the battle royale to finish off my first shocktrain.

The number is actually closer to 7500 keys based on previous events. So far, the BM resets once a month, so most you can accumulate is 30 or 31 days I think. The loot boxes are random, so Au is a bit more valuable still since you can get what you want instead of junk (aka a 5th Gepard since I won so many in previous events).

I figure you get ~5 keys per bronze chest on average, so you'll have to open 400-500 boxes to get to the superchest. But certainly achievable, if you play enough.

Not the way I would calculate time savings. For me, as long as I am playing and watching videos (and really, I am usually paying attention to something else), I am getting my upgrades at triple time. I am a free player, so I don't worry about what the whales do. I am never going to be able to compete against them. Gonna burn down that silver as fast as possible, then when no silver is left, I will use the videos to spin bronze chests. Most of the winnings will be junk that I will convert to silver too, but every so often I may get something good.

They can choose not to go to that league then. Besides if they WERE in a league where they are whale food, then they wouldn't be able to gain enough trophies to sustain being in that league so they will get pushed down to a lower one anyway.

I am currently using the ads to upgrade 2 to 1 bronze chest. I am trying to get more than my 5 basic builds up to par in the league I am in. So when the event hits and I have to rack up kills I can put in three db Griffons instead of just one. I also like to take a chance on the free chest. Most of the time I get nothing much but I have won a Golem and a Zeus in the bronze so i think it is worth the one out of three, plus anything I don't like gets sold off or I get more keys or a few gold. What it really boils down to is your goals. I want weapons but I like chance. Others may not feel that way so they go a different direction
One other thing of note. Pix is making bank on these ads. So the more we play and watch the more they make.

Because the way they're dishing out Storm components, I'll have a storm before I know it without even trying XD Basically if Pixonic is going to making a steady stream of Ad revenue instead of keeping their fingers crossed that some people buy the dash bots for $300, then I would hope this motivates them to make better decisions.
