The inquisitor, a mix between a Lancelot and a Griffin. You have to play the robot differently.

tenseven thanks for the video I would like to see more of longer gameplay takes, rather than a few seconds each. like a whole life of this bot from the spawn to the death. the longer stretch at the end was nice. I kind of want this bot, not bcs of the strange stealth-jump ability (why on earth it can activate stealth ONLY during the jump, when it should obviously need to spend more energy flying), but bcs its ground speed, hp, and even the jump cooldown appear to be an upgrade of a Griffin. and since I love a Griffin so no reason not to love a Griff on steroid? one thing is the firepower. Griff’s big advantage is being able to equip 2m2l weapons of the same or similar mechanics and range, so it can project a punch whenever there is a chance. for this guy, one heavy and two medium hardpoints are not bad, but it somehow feel a bit less than 2m2l or 3m. othe only heavy CQC option is Thunder and Ember, two unique weapons which cannot really find an equivalent in medium and light section. and they tend to be truly powerful only in pairs or triplets. Thunder Orkan may works best, as seen in those Thorkalots once roamed the field a lot. and since now we will have Storms ... ThunderStorm ... will see, EDIT: and ... how about Zeus-Scourge for a large map-specialized hangar? a somewhat fast mid-ranger with jump, which cannot be sniped whike in the air. hmm, downside would be the low dmg of Scourge at 600m, TLDR: I actually want this bot,

Also, Thunder Orkans is one of the best ambusher builds for the Inquisitor, the best being Ember Tarans.

Also, Thunder Orkans is one of the best ambusher builds for the Inquisitor, the best being Ember Tarans. I met once an ET Inq that was really effective and it was all Mk2. luckily it was blue, who saved my Carnage turning the center beacon blue on Canyon at the late game stage, from an advancing red Tarancilot. but in most other times, red ET Inq I met was somewhat easier to counter. I think that is because of the slow projectile speed and extremely obvious firepath of Ember. Ember and Taran have the same range, but Ember needs leading the target while Tarans don't. plus, Ember let it known to all who is shooting it, which is not so good if you want to ambush from a distance...

I can make a longer video. I usually play domination so I wasn’t sure people would want to sit through 10 minutes of game play. The inquisitor is a good robot. Tends to scare people on the battle field. It’s max speed is 40. 10 more than the Lancelot. 5 more than the Griffin, it makes a difference. Yes the Griffin is a great bot.4 hard points. Inquisitor is squishy like the Griffin, corner shooting is the best form of attack. It can do knife fights like no other bot. Make sure every weapon is charged. Then jump into battle. I have put Orkin ancile on it and it lacks fire power. Just a big Rog with an ancile. I’ve tried ancile Tarans, not as effective. The thunder tarans are the deadliest in my opinion. Haven’t faced a Dash bot with it yet. Maybe my next video I’ll try to face some Dash bots and see how the inquisitor does. Would love love to see the new weapon storm on the inquisitor.

Hi inspirace, thanks. I can make a longer video. I usually play domination so I wasn’t sure people would want to sit through 10 minutes of game play. ... ah I didn’t mean to ask for the footage of a whole battle. just from the spawning to the death of the particular Inquisitor... I often make such videoclips for my Orkan Doc, or any other bot in my hangar, to assess its effectiveness. I consider surviving for more than 2 minutes (since 10min/5 bots = 2min/bot), killing or maiming more than a couple reds, and capping a couple beacons, as a successful sorteé for any bot. it’s fun to look at my bots in that perspective
