Hey guys, as mentioned in the topic: what do you think would be best platform for the Schocktrain? I use two of them with my Kumiho - thinking of getting a third one for a Heachi (or even maybe a Bulga slow bot?) but not sure about it. yeah one more Train means 33% more dmg - but with the Kumiho you‘re able to dash nearly all the time, rush in and out or easly switch the sides of the battlefield… works quite well for me, also because with fully charged dashes you can stay behind cover- dash - fire - dash back into Cover again...
what are your experiences? Appreciate Andy suggestions
thx Mad

50% more, not 33%. Also, yeah, Haechi is far better for it.

Shock train is a 0 skill weapon. If your objective is to do 0 to work as a team and just rack up damage for yourself, by all means. You will spend most of your time running away from the battle like a hydra pilot. At first the weapon deterred players. Now players focus on killing the shocktrain player first. Because of this, I now see pilots that used to have insane top damage with their 0 skill shocktrain haechi's now fall in the middle of the pack as the counters are becoming effective. Also if pix fixes the shield bypass bug, these players will really have something to run from. So I would perhaps invest in a load out that does more in light of the counters and likelihood they will fix the bug. Orkans or tarans make more sense.

Haechi+Shocktrain= High damage but less speed. Kumiho+Shocktrain= less damage but ability to escape. I don't have the Shock train. But I run both Haechi and Kumiho.I find out that the Kumiho can't survive in close combat.

Don't have Shocktrains, but Dashes and Scourges. Since my Scourge Bulgasari works nice, I'll put Shocktrains on my other Bulgasari when I get them eventually.

They will be good on any Bot that can carry Medium Hard points. It also comes down to the users skill, But as said earlier these weapons are so easy to use they need no skill. They also needs a really big Nerf.

Only good place for a Shocktrain, is up the developer's rear ends... or one of them, since it will travel to all of them.
Like a multi-BOHICA.

50% more, not 33%. Also, yeah, Haechi is far better for it. I almost corrected you... as I thought you had bad maths. But no, you are right. Starting with 2... if Pilot Shocker adds 1 more, that is adding half again as much as before. So... yes, 50% MORE team-play killing, skill-less gameplay added to the match. Super.

There seems to be two kinds of shock train players: 1. The super whale that has it all and has MK2 shock train haechi, does 2 million in a battle. Extremely disheartening. There are many discord threads documenting who is playing shock trains . I personally have just memorized them and hunt them down with a taran haechi in hopes the rest of my team will grab beacons. Works pretty well. 2. The wallet warrior with under 3K victories that is seeking high stats that are laughable in their lack of skill. Which is funny as this weapon is already a skill less team wrecking piece of 「dookie」. These guys fold pretty easy and may have a whole hanger of dash/inquisitors. I love these players, I look at it as an opportunity to replenish my silver coffers.
There is 0 honor, nor is it impressive for you to skirt the battle using a weapon you know is super OP and has a bug to boot giving you the opportunity to do literally nothing but target, stay out of harms way, and rack up kills while the rest of your team grabs the beacons and actually plays the game.
Like I said, wait till they fix the bug and these guys get wrecked

I hope all that spent a 100 Pounds/Dollars/etc./etc. enjoy it whilst it lasts.

Ok thx alot for your thoughts - I‘ve spended a lot of time with the „old bots and casual weapons“ - just thought it‘s Payback-time with the Schocker and would like to start up „correctly“. Cheers

I was in a similar situation as you and ran 2x Shocktrains on my Kumiho while waiting on offers for the 3rd. The Kumiho is great as you will almost never die but you will do more damage per round in the Heachi or Bulg. Who wants to spend the whole fight in a single bot anyways?
The Haechi and Bulgasari are similar platforms for shocktrains with Haechi having the survivability advantage with his Ancile. It's fairly close though. The Bulg has a hard to use shield to block against energy snipers and is way better at corner shooting. Corner shooting is useful for shocktrains. If you only had one bot I would suggest the Haechi but you have a 5 bot hangar to fill.
I use shocktrains on my Bulgasari because the Haechi is way better than the Bulgasari while using orkans. The combination of the close range burst damage and the regenerating Ancile are really what makes the Orkan Haechi overpowered.

So are tarans (to counter ork haechi), but once you master the shield on bulgasari you will find him amazing with orks. There is no shield in the game as good as a bulgasari shield. Awesome to get close on long maps. The statement "who wants to spend the whole game in a single bot" is interesting as I see most shocktrain pilots doing everything they can to stay in that bot the whole match.

I run Shocktrain Bulgasari and Shocktrain Haechi. I prefer the Bulgasari, because the Haechi just seems to be easymode. I love the weapon, I hope it an settle into a balanced mode.
