The special event spinners are heavily weighted so as to essentially be predefined to hit the lowest remaining item, not random. So you're going to pay for the good stuff... very, very limited chance at getting a deal. I think the odds in the black market are probably better.
Thanks for nothing Pixo. Another pure money grab on your part... way to give back to your community with a fake event.

Can't argue that at all. Even 50 bucks won't get you the components jackpot. I didn't go very far with the wheel. It's a complete bunch of bull. It's like playing Wheel of Fortune and every 2nd spin is a Bankrupt. We should know by now that Pixonic won't give anything nice without paying a high price.

I did the Kumiho to completion as I needed just those components to complete and get the Kumiho. Every single spin went from lowest to highest value, no randomness. The shocktrain had gone exactly the same. Being the idiot I am I spent about 3000 au to get the 125 components (1/100 of a shocktrain) with the two most valuable cards left but I don't the gold remaining to get the only cards that are of interest.
I just can't believe they are willing to scam us to this extent. I don't mind paying and have bought numerous boxes of keys over time. But this weak payout and utterly non-random spins are just offensive. It literally feels like theft.

From reading around on their facebook page and here, you are in the minority. And those are minor wins. Try getting the better cards and see what happens.

I am avoiding the terminal velocity thing - it sounds like most people shouldn't use it for components. i will just play as normal, and pick up some extra gold from matches, and a few of the prize items that my play level will let me unlock like the magnum, a leo, maybe a treb.

No bot is worth in gold what Pix is asking for it. I don't care if it flies, disappears, rushes in your face, or teleports. This event is a scam of the highest order...so bad that they should be ashamed of it themselves. But we all know that they would never feel shame as long as their pockets are stuffed with cash from gold purchases. There is honestly too much currency in this game. Silver, Gold, Keys, Intelligence Points, Workshop Points....it's just too much. Couple that with these bogus events and ripoff "offers" and you'll be bald before you have enough to get a dash. I've played many games over my years but this game is by FAR the absolute worst microtransaction game in the history of gaming. These lotteries and wheels are basically gambling and last I checked, in many countries it's illegal to gamble under the age of 18. There are certainly players playing this game under that age. Ripping off players won't set well in the future for Pixonic. Many mobile game companies have dabbled in it too much to make more money and it costed them. It's up to the players to decide whether or not to spend money. But if you really know how this game is...spend money on something else.

In my experience, I can accurately predict every spin by choosing the the lowest value item. Save your gold and spend it in the sales section.

The first couple of spins have a reasonable rate of return, but the cost quickly escalates beyond the normal rate for the items received. I have been taking advantage of the first couple of spins and then stopping.
In past events the chests actually had a very good rate of return (IME 1.5 to 1 or better), but the current event spinner is a loser (as is the Black Market). The rate of return for both is now lower than simply purchasing items directly.

Spun for the "Shieldbreaker" because I've been wanting a Tempest and because I had some Au to burn. As was expected, I didn't get it until it was the last item left, and it cost the better part of 10,000 Au. I really shouldn't have done it, but I really wanted the Tempest. Should have gotten the Tempest when it could have been purchased for IP. Oh, well. Lesson learned. And I have 1,690 components towards my second Tempest.
**Edit - At least I picked up quite a bit of Ag for my trouble. Small consolation, but something is better than nothing.

It’s basically this. You have to pay for the appearance of a chance to win. And each time you pay To give it a spin it gets more expensive... the odds seem to get better. But really they are the same because it’s rigged... if I want to waste all my money on the stupidest chances ever I’ll go to a casino thank you very much

You're either forced to drop 200 smackers on a trove of Dash components or the same on a "chance" (yeah right) to win components. If I'm dropping 200...I won't gamble on it. Just buy the components and forget about that lottery garbage!

Another pure money grab on your part... way to give back to your community with a fake event. It's a pay to win game - I wasted all my remaining gold and got 36 hours of VIP and about 7 Haechi parts. Pixonic, please make the spinners RANDOM!

I'm trying to understand how a human being can gain any kind of emotional satisfaction from watching the suffering of someone else. And worse, how you could even encourage someone to use it as a catharsis. It is distasteful to say the least. We do not encourage this kind of behavior or suggestions on this forum. Please let this be your only warning.
