Whilst the proper form would be Ready, Aim , Shoot it seems that Pixonic is following the former rather than later.
On my Ipad Pro I get in an endless loop stating: a new version is available , please upgrade your game.
off to the Apple store and there is no way to find an update to the game.
conversely, my Iphone 6S uploaded the new version overnight without any action on my part.
On an iphone the game may be ok for one battle but I prefer the larger screen of the iPad Pro for long rounds of the game.
Has anyone found a solution for this loop/no update available?
Others on the forum suggested deleting the app and reinstalling but I dont want to risk loosing my progress nor the game launch icon as can happen when I have deleted other apps.
thanks and Cheers!

Refreshing the app store seems like the only thing that helps with the update loop.

Uninstall game and install it again..I had same prob in my iPad mini 2 but it got solved btw make sure u don’t remove data from game centre when uninstalling else u have to start from ground zero ( which is probably better if ur in too high league and haven’t spend $$)

Connect to Game Center and then you don’t risk losing progress.

Just go to updates within the appstore, pull down from the top to refresh it, and there it is. It's not just War Robots that will show up, seems to be an Apple issue... I went through the same thing. There are a couple of recent threads about it too.

Thanks all! I refrained from deleting the game as some suggested. I was not confident I would not mess up the process. So, I kept checking the App Store to no avail. I got home, turned off Cellular on my ipad and went on my WiFi connection, well, that may have been the issue.
once i went to WiFi a ton of apps were showing in the Updates section.
all downloaded and the new War Robots is there!
I am not sure if it was War Robots late in rolling out the ipad ios update or just updates only apperar on WiFi networks.
some tech person may be able to opine further but my bumbling around seems to be the trick!
thanks fir all your prompt responses!

In the future, you might want to drag your update page downwards to refresh the updates. New updates aren't always automatically refreshed on the Update panel in the App Store.

Happened again. Seems there is a lag for the app store to list the updates you need. At least a 15 minute lag for the War Robot update to list

You might have had some sort of update only on wifi turned on. Not sure if there is one on IOS, but on my phone, whenever I'm about to do an update, it'll basically prompt me if I want to continue or wait til I have wifi connection.

It's funny how the same threads pop up after every update. TO the mods- you should sticky a thread on how to refresh the apple app store (and save a bunch of people the mistake of uninstalling the app) and another thread that discusses the fact that the new bots/weapons etc dont go live as soon as you install the update.
