I've been haunting this forum for several months. I decided to follow Mech Spectrum's cue and check out the War Robots Players page on Facebook. Call me a snob, but I encountered a somewhat different breed of people there. Aside from the lack of filters (note to people to whom English isn't your first language, [Firetruck] isn't commonly used multiple times in the same sentence, nor, unless you're a rapper, is it commonly used as an interjection, noun, pronoun, personal pronoun, verb, adverb, and adjective all in the same paragraph). I just didn't feel the same friendship or comardarie there as I do here. I don't know that newbies would feel as welcome there as they do when they come here. Sure, you encounter the occasional troll here, but from what I could see on Facebook, there was a lot more of it there.
I may go there once in a while, but I think I'll pretty much hang out here.

I can respect their size and reach as a community, so that's why I wanted to highlight them. That said, for precisely the same reasons as you, I don't particularly enjoy going there as opposed to here.
