I'm not into that 'keep your bot level low, weapons high, so you are a one hit wonder' thingy. I'm talking of real gaming balance. What does it say, if you can one shot a griff, but are unable to hold yourself against a golem in a fair firefight for the center beacon? You're the suicide asassassin. I'm the solider. Sorry, for that comparison. But it is really fitting! With my bot overall levels, I should be here. That's where I, my bots and my playstyle belong. You sneak in, just to wreak havok and get your reward. You smuggle high leveled weapons to a battlefield, where they just don't belong. Why? Because you can. So, it is legit. Why fight with a knife, when you can sneak in a 9mm? Sorry, I maybe play the same game, like you, but I play a different game... Well, I'm certainly not getting very far by getting clubbed with everything else in my aresenal. I have to get some gold too. Sorry if my play style offends you I don't like clubbers. But a 2/8 Cossack isn't the first thing that comes to mind when I think of clubbing. Hell, its not the tenth.

New info: My win-rate just slipped over 80%. From that on, I almost constantly play low to mid silver. Not even adding the Gareth, a few weeks ago, changed that much. I'm pretty sure, the win-rate changes more, than a single brit-bot ever could. Sure, it just happened and I don't have played enough, to make it a statistical fact. But the changes in overall bot setup and playstyle are remarkable. Now I got to deal with two-, or even three bot cells. Griffs back pedal all of a sudden and beacon capping is now sport of the day. Can other players maybe watch the changes, when their win-rate gets up? Would be nice to know... Yes, win rate definitely matters. You are still running 4/6 medium mechs? Gareth will make a difference especially stacked with the win rate boost. I experienced a similar situation, so I simply accepted my fate and upgraded to 4/8 meds and 4/9-10 lights. The upside of this is that I can run a 90% win rate without seeing much shift in the composition of enemy hangars (leo-griffin-nat, overlevelled lights and meds, stalker, fujin, rajin, occassional britbot/rhino/fury with terrible win %). I suspect this is tied to the sheer number of poorly composed hangars that include at least one heavy bot. My allies have gotten worse, though, with lots of droppers and afk types... I'm often inflicting as much damage as most of my allies combined. Bottom line: I think a high win rate + 4/6 meds + gareth will put you in the same player pool as I'm in, at least on a semi-regular basis. If you want to stay there, definitely upgrade your guns.

I'm building a complete new Hangar, at the moment. Plasma griffin, RDB griffin, Trident carnage are almost ready. Gareth will be upgraded next. And I'm saving WSP for a Rhino. Levels are 6/8 overall for the moment. Will take me to high silver, as I understand the MM System. Dredd77: It is not the Cossack, it is the bot/gun ratio, that get me upset.
