A tip for that guy with the Plasmahad I keep on killing with my DB Griffin If your not the guy in the plasmaahad who I keep killing no need to read on.
If you are, lets have a chat.
We see each other periodically, take a few shots, little bit of cat and mouse, then we wind up on opposite side of some lowish cover. Wall, small building, whatever. And we take a moment, just hanging out, relatively safely, just waiting / wondering / pondering a moment of tranquil calm in the storm. At this point I sometimes wonder whatâs going on inside you head? I am happy to share whatâs going on inside mine: â3,2,1â (reload / cool down finished), Baaam!!!, you are dead. There is probably a deeper meaning in there somewhere, but at a simple level, I donât take breaks, it sometimes just takes me a little longer to kill you. Donât give me the time, I really donât deserve it, I should have got you with the first salvo, I 「fluffernutter」ed up and now I should really be dead, donât give me an inch.

Usually this happens when the pilot of the Plasmahad has never piloted a DB Griffin before. Therefore he doesn't really appreciate your cooldown/vulnerable moments

As a Plasma Galahad pilot, if your Death Button Griffin is not within 150m of me, your Griffin will be dead. That is, assuming my backpedal doesn't get blocked by some teammate.

What is a plasmahad doing that close to a DB? Great question. Probably a larger part of the point ?

It's quite possible you're talking about me. I have no qualms chasing down and killing DB Griffs with my Plasmahad. My POS iPhone has started having tactile sensor issues, and I frequently find myself unable to move or fire at the worst possible moments.

What is a plasmahad doing that close to a DB? Dying. My guess would have been defending a beacon in a beacon led game.

I have an iPhone and experience the same thing. It's incredibly annoying because I have to stop touching everything for a short time and then try moving again and hope it works. Sadly, it happens a lot right when an engagement starts, so I'm wondering if the additional graphics bog down the phone causing the touchscreen to stop working momentarily.

Really annoying, movement just stops, at the worst possible moment. Seems to me they tweaked something in the touch handling, something they shouldn't have...

I've been having the same problem with my iPad Air 12.9. I was worried it might be a hardware issue but maybe it's a bug in the last update. Driving me crazy as it always occurs while I'm engaging someone. I always play with no other apps running in the background and regularly reboot the device to further clean the slate so I'm thinking we need to start letting Pix know. I could maybe see how a phone could get bogged down a bit with all the graphic challenges but I've got hi capacity, hi end device. I just don't know for sure cuz I'm way behind in my geekiness nowadays.

My guess would have been defending a beacon in a beacon led game. Rather than guessing I decided to go by the title of the thread. I'm strange that way. Go figure.

Well, sometimes the best you can do is buy time for your team. In a plasmahad, facing a DB griffin at short range, you don't have many outs as poker players say....

As a Plasma Galahad pilot, if your Death Button Griffin is not within 150m of me, your Griffin will be dead. That is, assuming my backpedal doesn't get blocked by some teammate. I thought the changes to rockets in 2.9 meant backpedaling doesn't work anymore due to Rockets now continuing to their max range (no proximity explosions). I assuming when I say that we're talking about a grounded griffin, whereas an in flight will still hit the ground where you are (were) standing.
I'm finding quite a bit of success with the new changes just dodging left and right against orkans now, with a lot of the damage flying passed my against grounded opponents. can be very satisfying

I do believe backpeddling no longer works. Gotta try to sidestep rockets now. Can't bank on dodging as much. Lateral movement can work well but it's more random and dependent on the skill of the shooter.
