So I've been playing long enough to have a decent hangar but no Lance and no Fury. So I have an RDB Griff, PDB, DB, a plasma Thunder Leo, a Pin Zeus Leo, a Thunder Carnage, 2 x lvl Tridents, a 2nd lvl9 Zeus for a Zarny,... I can build a splash or plasma Gareth and the same with a Galahad.
What's the best use of the prizes?:
Natasha: What load out thats gonna be more effective and versatile than my Pin Zeus Leo? Treb Gekko maybe?
Ancile: On a Leo? Then with what? Pinatas?
Aphids? I mean I hate an Aphid Patton at Moon map as much as the next guy and Trebs at Yamantau, but - given that there are 7 maps - do these builds really give bang for my buck?
Okans - how many do you have in your active hangar? I have 3, Gareth & DB Griff.
So what are your experiences with the Anciles other than on a Lance and Natasha - how can I turn her into a working girl?
My hangar usually looks like this (but I sometimes run a full Plasmahad instead of Orkan/Pinata/Magnum):

Hi @travlar I am also levelling up a second Zeus, with the goal of building a Zarney. I've been contemplating putting them on a Natasha while their levelling up. I've seen many players have good success with the Zeus/Gekko build. Gekkos are gonna become more common now with the extra damage boost of 25% with the 2.9.2 update. And from preliminary reports, they hurt... With Ancile I haven't found any other setup as viable as Ancilot. I have 3 or 4 of them from the last event rotting from disuse. I've heard of people protecting their squadmates with a double Ancile Carnage, which sounds like a formidable shield for your buddies, but you would have to be willing to take a huge hit to your average damage and Au/Token earnings to run this. Aphids: I just love running the Aphid Jesse - it's seriously the best WW bot setup along with Tulu Doc and Treb Butch. I would sooner run Aphid Gepard than Aphid Patton, simply because the Gepard can deal Aphid damage without receiving it and also double as a (late) beacon runner. But that's probably also because there are other Patton pilots out there much better than I. But seeing as your hangar is quite slow, especially with the addition of Natasha, you may be interested in speed options to keep it flexible for many different maps I run 4 Orkans now and it has definitely boosted my average damage. I think many players would agree that there is a direct relationship between how much damage you score each match and how many Orkans you have in your hangar. I have another three waiting for the dashbots to land and am excited to see what that's gonna do for my results. The scourge weapon may change all this though. Gonna try this Zeus/Gekko Natasha for myself soon

Anciles are good combined with mags piñatas or aphids, all are fun setups (except piñatas haven't tried those with ancile yet). Aphids are good on Jesse Gepard Patton Leo griffin and kind of on the stalker. Natty, trident pins, Zeus gekkos, treb gekkos, tempest molot. I have 2 orkans and am almost always running them.

I have no idea what to do with the ancile prize beyond having troll fun with triple ancile Fury which actually won a match for me.
going to mount Orkan prize on lance I put the mag , gekko and aphid prize on Koi Leo took off thunder from pred Carnie and mounted trident prize and bought another trident swopping out Kang Dai from my old Natasha for the Treb prize ,will need to buy another treb new Natasha for now will have a silly Thunder and aphid mix for fun and it uses my aphids I got from the chests.
On the low low chance I complete a tempest task will , stick that on my Raijin

I've got a Leo (won with crazy paint) with an Ancil and Gekko x3. I don't know how much time I'll invest in leveling up, but it has its uses.

Vityaz is actually a decent support bot with an Ancile and Magnums or Punishers. It turns a standard Thunder Lance into a Super-Ancilot. Vityaz is agile enough to keep Lance inside the Ancile bubble and it is not too squishy when you're under plasma fire. The Vityaz/Lance hybrid has two light, two medium and one heavy weapon. It's a face wrecking combo.
The most potent Ancile bots are Natasha, Carnage and Raijin. Each of these bots has its own sub-role in battles. Carnage follows and protects heavy armed knife fighters. Natasha is for taking enemy beacons as it can advance with a rotated turret so the Ecu can eat plasma. Raijin is for fortification of blue beacons.
All of these three bots are in my active hangar when the event tasks want me to win battles. Ag income actually sucks from using these bots. But in return you get to witness the most epic scenes that this game has to offer. You become the front line. You are Gandalf yelling to the Balrog that he shall not pass. Everyone is shooting at you and your well protected team mates are cornershooting like crazy from behind you. Seen several players doing new damage highscores from within my Ancile bubbles.

Vityaz was the first bot I bought and I still play it, partly because I'm saving for my fifth slot and partly nostalgia. I am constantly surprised at what I can pull off with it. It's great opener for me, checking out what's going on and deciding where to put my next bot. I've settled in with Aphids and Thunder. Every so often I'll stay in the Vityaz for the whole game. Got six kills in a game with it recently. Seems like the little extra speed and stamina can make it work.

Everyone is shooting at you and your well protected team mates are cornershooting like crazy from behind you. Seen several players doing new damage highscores from within my Ancile bubbles. Double Ancile Raijin is an option, and I concur with the above assessment. I tried the Ancile/Thunder combo before, but I just tried this last night and tried to make it work. You need to use it at the right time, but it's amazing to just walk up to a beacon and push them back. The funny thing is that this bot will draw lots of reds to you. I've had 4 reds walk over to the side beacon on Shenzhen, usually one of the most contested beacons on that map. I held it for a really long time, and 2 DB Griffins were not enough to make a dent in my Ancile. Plus a plasma Stalker was trying to shoot at my physical shield, and another Galahad ignored me and went for one of my teammates. You're basically a sponge for all sorts of damage, plasma and DB and RDB. The 2x Anciles recharge fast enough. If you bring it out first or in early mid-game, then usually you're safe from Ancile poppers (Thunders). Usually they come out later when the Ancilots come out, so it will take a while for a disorganized random red team to counter you and take your beacon. I'm still refining my strategy with the 2x Ancile Raijin. But use it on maps with really contested beacons. You can sit on the beacon, but often times you can choose a better defensive spot close to the beacon. Then your teammates can use your Ancile to protect from rockets, and you will draw all sorts of fire from them. They'll likely survive longer and get really high damage scores while you will suffer a bit. Your goal is to hold a beacon as long as possible, and draw a lots of reds to you. The battle will play out several ways. Either they come at you one by one, and a friendly blue will kill them for you. Or you'll get epic battles where all the reds and blues are drawn to you, and you'll watch the carnage around you. If your team is smart, your team will actually use this opportunity to secure more beacons. By the time you die, your team should have the beacon bar advantage or at least tied. Yes, there is actually some strategy with this build even if you can't attack. You do want to position yourself near your teammates if possible. Also, you want to be in a somewhat favorable and defensible position if you're gonna use Bastion or set up shop somewhere. So not only do you have to pick the right beacon to defend, but where to defend exactly. You're also free to change beacons esp. in a small map like Moon map. I started protecting the far right beacon, then during a lull in combat, I set up under the tunnel tucked away in a corner to protect centre beacon. During that time, they weren't able to change our home beacon, and then we fortified the centre beacon so they couldn't capture it. I didn't have any beacon captures, but I helped our team hold on to beacons. The last thing is being a moving screener like in basketball. So you want to be able to walk so you can jump into firing lanes to take rocket damage for your team. Your shields are strong enough that you need to be actively moving around and absorbing as much rocket fire for them as possible as your teammate and reds will sometimes try to ignore you. Also, you need to move to get away from danger. Maybe you need to let your Anciles recharge, or your position was gonna be overrrun with reds. Just because you're wearing double protection, doesn't mean you can just sit in one spot until you die.

Ten Anciles have accumulated in my inventory so far and they are currently at 9/9/9/9/9/8/8/7/7/7. Ridiculous...I know. However, I frequently use them all at once in a hangar for fun. One Raijin, two Carnages and three Natashas with Ecu. All shields, no weapons at all. I did at least 400 battles with these three Ancile builds. I have also tested other bots but only Raijin, Carnage and Natasha showed an outstanding performance. It is definitely not boring to run them as each serves different needs and situations. It is actually very action-packed and often requires aggressive piloting right into a firestorm. There are matches where I need all five bots. Center beacon on Yamantau often requires a constant stream of Anciles to make sure my team mates there stay alive to defend the beacon. Team mates spawning with me will then arrive there protected. You are basically on a permanent suicide mission making sure team mates arrive at the front line with full health and stay alive for as long as possible while doing plenty of damage. You have to be very aware and take opportunities for spawn raids and beacon advances. It's very different gameplay somehow and lots of fun. And it has no bad effect on the outcome of a match. I shake my turret at people shooting at me. They obviously have no idea. But they are about to see some contribution soon.
