I have been messing around with both and am interested in other folks thoughts.

Both are good as things sit in the Meta.
RDB has a bit more versatility in firing angles and evasion strikes.
Tulu Doc has a 4 Tulu Salvo and damn good running speed for a medium.
Doc can change positions easily, and can get undefended beacons without taking too long or wasting a jump... but RDB has all the traditional movement bonuses that jumping gives it... clearing obstacles, reaching platforms/levels that are above you... etc., etc.
There is a definite downside to the Doc on Yam and parts of SF... the hills make it slip and slide all over the place.
Beyond those differences, they are both great 500m splash platforms. I JUST recently went back to RDB (again) and put 4x Orcs on the Doc... and so far I am completely reversing my stance on the Doc not being good up close where you would normally use Orks. Basically... it is as good at switching between DB and RDB as the Griff is.
Both platforms are good for different reasons, but both are good. I think the RDB would work better on smaller maps... strictly because it can jump and create firing lanes... but otherwise... I would be happy running either.
Oh, btw, if it comes down to a duel between an RDB Griff and RDB Doc... I would usually give the edge to the Griff... again, B/C of the jump allowing for evasion of incoming. Doc isn't as able to get in, shoot, and get out before the Griff can launch at it.
IMO, YMMV

Very good points here by ⓣⓡⓘⓒⓚⓨ48I'd add some more. Been using RDB February~April Using Tulu Doc May~July Doc: 1) Catch unaware red, unleash 4xTulu on him, RUN AWAY 2) Go grab a beacon! Griff: 1) Hide behind a cover, jump UP to shoot fast and hide. 2) Reach out and finish off pesky sniper\Trident guy Also, there is a thing. While all those rockets could fire while reloading, empty Doc is worse than empty Griff. Because you need to switch weapons to utilize all 4 Tulu, and you need 15 seconds to do that. Meanwhile Griff can use all 4 of his weapons to provide tad of firepower. So in mortal standoff I would give Griff the edge, too. You can drip rockets for the 14 seconds, and jump away when you see Doc is switching arms. My Doc was killed couple of times in a closerange standoff by a Griff (please don't tell me Tulus are not for knifefighting, they ARE, if it's less than 1 minutes on the countdown timer)

I have been messing around with both and am interested in other folks thoughts. ⓣⓡⓘⓒⓚⓨ48 has already said it all, but I'd caution with upgrading rather Tulus/PINs or the Griff/Doc at thus time. The upcoming Scourge and Koreans bots will really pressure both setups and both setups will be targeted first as they much get closer to the action to work at 500m. This will put all Tulu/PIN setups inside the range of all Scourge setups - and that's not a good place to be with any lowish damage per salvo bot. Your choice will either be to join the Scourge party, switch to a >600m range setup, or get a non-LOS setup. All 3 choices will work and probably be better than getting picked off at 600m by Scourge setups or crushed at knifer ranges by fast Korean bots with Orks or Tarans (which your Tulus/PINs will flat out miss).
