I need some help with weapon load outs for some of my robots, since, while I find some of them to be pretty effective (I switch between Gold 3 and Silver 1 almost on a daily basis) and would like to make the most impact for my gameplay in the matches I am in, so I would very much appreciate it if someone could give me some useful advise about which weapons are best to equip on diffrent robots.
I have a bunch of robots in my inventory, but I will only list the robots that I use the most, during the day and those few robots I use for the daily mission events...
The robots that I use the most are (along with what I have equipped and the weapon level): Natasha - level 9 2x Thunder (each level 5) and 2x magnum each level 7).
Leo - Level 6 1x Thunder (level 5), 1xMagnum (level 5) and 1x Gekko (level 5).
Leo - Level9 1x Thunder (level 5) and 3x Magnum (two level 6 magnums and one level 2 magnum - I just won it in the special event, which is why it is still low in level).
Griffin - Level 9 2x Magnum (each level 7) and 2x Taran (each level 6).
Natasha - Level 7 2x Trebuchet (each level 6), 1x Piñata (level 5) and 1x Punisher (level 5) - though I do not use that robot as much as I used to.
Stalker - Level 7 2x pinata (one level 5 and one level 6). I realise that for the Stalker, equipping it with Magnums seems to be very popular among most players, but until I save up enough to buy another Magnum or win one in the coin roulette spin, I have decided not to equip it with just one Magnum because it kind of throws off my game a bit.
Are any of these a good load out for these robots, or am I doing something wrong in equipping these weapons on each of these robots? Does anyone have any suggestions that could improve the effectiveness of my robots and my gameplay using these robots in battle with different weapons or are these load outs pretty much the norm? The only robot that I know that I have listed here that could use serious improvement it's weapon load outs is the level 6 Leo q d the level 7 Stalker (which I will work on once I have a second spare Magnum to equip to it).
thanks in advance anyone and everyone who might be able to help me with this.
- stay peachy always, friends, IndraIsles

Hi - I'm in Diamond 2 iOS and I'm not an expert on weapon loadouts but I'll give some general advice if it helps. I would start considering a rocket Griffin - RDB. I equip mine with Piñata and Tulus (300 and 500m) range. You can unload tulus at the reds and then close in for the short range rockets. It really hurts the opponent and you get good damage points. After that consider a short range rocket Griff i.e. Orkan and piñata. Lethal. I run the following hangar- level 10 Gareth orkan 10 mag 10 Galahad Taran 10 pinata 10 mag 10 2 x level 8 Griffins pinata 9 tulumba Zarnage = Carnage level 10 2 x level 9 Zeus utterly deadly mid range killer. By way of general advice what is your objective? If it's DMG then tailor your hangar for High dmg output. If it's beacon capping then keep stalkers and Ecu Cossacks. If it's winning matches then consider a hangar of 2 x knife i fighters 2x RDB Griffs and a mid ranger eg Zarnage, Molot Griffin (Moffin) etc I tend to stay away from long range sniping as I can have more influence on the win condition by attacking and defending beacons. Also sniping tends to generate lower damage. Finally sniping isn't as much fun as mid range or short range combat - a lot of sniper guys stay in the same bot all match even tho the team really needs some up-close support. Good luck - hope those ideas are useful.

Ok, not trying to get too radical, but first, try to even out the levels of your bots. Android silver 1/gold 3 I would suggest lvl 7 minimum (for those not yet lvl 7).
Weapons to lvl 8 minimum.
Stalker - with 2× Piñatas is a fine flanking ambusher/beacon capper setup.
Griffin - fine as is.
lvl 6 Natasha - replace with lvl 9 Natasha. The Trebuchets are fine, Punisher and Piñata are definately not. The ranges do not correlate at all for maximum affect at all times. The cheapest fix is to switch out the Punisher and Piñata for 2 Molots. Molots are cheap and have 800m range which is much closer to the trebs' max range.
Lvl 9 Leo - fine as is.
Lvl 6 Leo - mimic the lvl 9 Leo by taking your second Natasha's 2 Magnums.
Lvl 9 Natasha - you replaced the lvl 6 Natasha with this and will now store it in your inactive hangar.
This gives you 1 beacon capper/flanker, 1 long range bot, and 3 brawlers without going crazy and buying all sorts of new stuff.
If three brawlers ends up not working out for you, turn the Griffin into a RDB Grif by arming it with 2 Pins and 2 Tulumbaseses.

Thanks a lot; I followed your advice and switched some weapons around with different robots and so far it seems to be doing me better than I was before, even though I have only played 5 matches since reading your post. I think right now, my biggest problem is not having patience and tending to rush in just for a kill and/or damage, so I should work on that next. the only thing I have to ask about is where you said to swap out my second Natasha magnums, but I only own 6 magnums, so I can't do that right now, unfortunately, until I can buy another one and as for the weapons you buy with gold, I can't afford any of them, at least not for a week for so, so working mostly with workshop point weapons and credit weapons, unfortunately.

I'd recommend phasing out the Leos. While they have impressive firepower and HP, they are too slow to get to action. Do not mix ranges as it ends up being ineffective for neither of the ranges.
Get an RDB-Get it to 8/8/8/8-8
Get the PDB to 8/8/8/-8
Get a Thunder Carnage-Salvage the Thunders from Leo. Get it to 8/8-9
Make another PDB Griff/PDB Rhino.
The fifth space can be a beacon runner (mind, the Carnage can also be used as one)
When you have sufficient gold, Buy couple Zeus, put it on a Carnage get it to 8/8-9. (Another probably capper+Midrange+out of range from RDB spam)
Didn't you get an Aphid from the event? Get that on your Stalker, maybe. Pinata too slow+too close and too unreliable with the speed of a Stalker.

Some of the more specific advice given has been good. Generally speaking a good goal would be to get your bots and weapons to level 8 or 9. The question for you is how you would like to work that. Some options are bots first, weapons first, whatever takes the least time, or upgrade 1 bot and its weapons before moving to the next. Based on your hanger I might suggest something like getting your most commonly used weapons all to level 7, then maybe a favorite bot to 9. I say 9 because it is at that level their speed is maxed (with a few exceptions). One thing to note with that approach, or any approach, is you will always have your weapons but you might switch out your bots.
On a personal level I found level 8 that be a good intersection of time spent upgrading relative to weapon damage. I've brought probably way too many things up to that level but has given me a lot of flexibly.

I did not recommend buying any weapons that cost gold. I only suggesting getting 2 Molot MkIs. I did misread your lvl 6 Leo's setup as two Magnums and a Gekko and forgot about the Gekko though, my apologies. However, reading your OP, you do state you have 8 magnums. Based on that (having 8 Magnums according to your OP), I suggested: Put the Trebs, Gekko and a Molot on your lvl 9 Natasha to make it a sniper bot. Put the 2 Magnums that were on your lvl 9 Natasha on your lvl 6 Leo to be a copy of your lvl 9 Leo (Thunder, 3× Magnums on both). Leave Griffin as 2 Magnums and 2 Tarans. Leave Stalker as 2 Piñatas. Level bots that are lower than lvl 7 to lvl 7. Level weapons to 8. Now, you are saying that you only have 6 Magnums total?

The one Leo , run thunder & mags. Definitely a good way to tank out and get some damage and kills on. The other Leo I would run a thunder and equal level punishers. That way, you can walk down red bots starting at around 400yds. That will also shred ANY ancile you come across in a super quick fashion. I'm not a fan of the RDB Griff. Even with the new buff to rockets, I still don't like it. I would say make it a gunboat and level up the molots, keeping them 2 levels above the bot level. But then again, I'm also an advocate of all things that shoot lead down range, so I may be a bit biased on that one. If you have them, put aphids on teh stalker. If you don't have them, buy some and put them on the stalker. Hands down, that is the most effective weapon IMHO for the stalker. It allows the stalker to do what it's meant to do.. stay under cover, sneak around and cap beacons. The Natty....well... I don't think you can improve what you've gotten on that one so far. Good luck on using it. I've never been able to make them effective.

There have been several responses and probably a lot of confusion.
Don't buy anything else yet:
Stalker - pinatas - no problem for the moment. level 9 nat. with the trebs and whatever other long range weaponry you have or can afford. 1 gekko. 1 molot? This may be a bot to replace with an RDB if it doesn't work to well for you.
Level 6 Leo, 3 mags. No issue Level 9 Leo, put thunder pinatas on it. Griff, Tarans and magnums.
Now. See how this works. However, I would recommend getting an RDB griffin (pins and tullumbas - all silver) and see if you prefer it to any one other bot.
When you can, get yourself a carnage to try out.

Just my opinion 1. Your Griffin Taran/Magnum - Good 2. Piñata Stalker - Good (I have level 11 Piñata and level 11 Aphids, I actually prefer the punch and more stable damage of Piñata) 3. Treb/Gekko Nathasia - Good (if you don't have 2 Gekko? Get it from event Task or replace with molot) 4. Thunder/Magnum Leo - Good 5. Thunder/Piñata Leo - Good
Use the higher level bots and weapons, bench the rest. And ..... I will build a RDB Griffin and buy 2 Orkans, build a DB Griffin. If you like you Thunder/Magnum nathasia, you may also consider Thunder Carnage, which is much faster get to the face of red bots.

See below. But I would make your Natasha all long range. Molots are very accurate from far if you don't have geckos and a lot cheaper. Plus there range is farther than what a punisher could give you. Just don't sit in her too long as she has no mobility for capping and you'd be hurting your team more by not helping with the capping war. If your team is winning on the beacon race then sure you can sit in her longer. More power to your teammates. Thunder magnum setup in leo has proven to be a good classic however with all the rocket buffs, he may be a sitting target. I personally would use him for now and transition him to long range or more griffins or light/medium cappers in your hanger. He's just so slow for my taste. If you don't have enough silver then go with your Leo setup as is but try to get another stalker or griffin in the meantime if your gold isn't all there. Starting lineup: - Leo - (1) Thunder and (2) Magnums - Stalker - (2) Magnums or (2) pinatas - Griffin - (2) Magnums / (2) Tarans - Natasha - (2) Trebs and (2) geckos or molots - Leon - Thunder/Magnum setup but if you can do punisher griffin or another stalker here that would be ideal. Good luck bud.

But I am not too concerned about the Stalker's load out right now, since I only use it during the morning taste events when I need to cap the beacons. i might try the level 9 Natasha with 1x molot and 1x Gekko (until I can afford a second Gekko) And the others seem to working out well for me, the energy-packed Griffin and my two Leo's, although for my second Griffin, I am tossing up if I should leave that a full on missile boat or equip it as I did the other Griffin. I'll see how it works out equipment -wise later in the game.
