Weapon ignore Ancile- plasma Weapon to kill Ancile- Thunder, Punisher Weapon ignore physical shield- splash There are many bots can kill it solo, like Plasmahad, any Thunder Lancelot or even...... I have killed an Ancilelot solo with a thunder Tridents Carnage (take a long time thought) I'd don't know about this... In reality (ie in the game) you don't have too long or his buddies will come to the party and kill you. The best one on one versus an ancilot that I've seen was earlier today: A Hellfire Rhino charged down the RHS at DC, I took him on in my RDB but he was in range, I'd used my jump and he killed me. As I was going down a blue Ancilot was coming in, if he'd been there 7 or 8 secs earlier he could've been punching the Rhino in the side and killed it - but not. I respawned in a DB Griff and as I trudged my @55 and then jumped to be able to hit him I saw tha his health just wasn't going down much from the Ancilot Tarans, it was my Orkans and Stuka dive that killed him. I saw the Ancilot was smoking and had only one Taran left, he took a few really slow steps and then decided to eject his busted bot. The Rhino must've upped his shield marched inside the shield and then dropped his shield when he was fulled loaded with his Orkans. Shield back up and continued banging with his magnums.
Wanna take on a Ancilot solo, I'd go Rhino and pray he has plasma. I run a Galahad and an Plasma Ancilot tears the shield off me before I can do any real damage.

Plasmahad vs Ancilelot will win 100% if they are same level and skill. Because Ancile = nothing in front of Galahad's Taran and Magnum Firepower- 1 Taran 2 Magnums > 2 Taran Physical shield + HP- Galahad > Lancelot If both of them can't corner shoot and all bullet hit, Plasmahad will win If it is Orkan Lancelot? Plasmahad will win if he is 200m+ away from the Lancelot and has space to backpedal my Plasmahad only 9/11, he is so dead in front of RDB Griffin, I still keep it because it can kill all Ancilelot except 12/12 or the situation I mentioned above.

Destrier with Molotov (new Hungarian weapon due in July/aug) and spiral. Sneak up behind the ancilot and shoot it in the rush jet. Will go up in smoke. Molotov is a Finnish weapon

But once you drop his shield, guys come flying in from everywhere to scoop up the free damage and finish him, like bees drawn to honey. Did you mean bears drawn to honey? I'm don't pretend like you don't have personal desires.

In a 1v1, the best bots to kill an Ancile Lancelot is the Thunder Lancelot or the Plasma Galahad. Plasma / DB Rhino or the DB Griffin work decently if you manage to get within the Ancile Lancelot's bubble.

Hell, I started running my Aphid Patton again... and there are now a few Tarancilots that wish that I hadn't. Very simple to do. Here is a fundemental guide... nuances and advanced Aphid Patton tactics can be made into a thread if anyone would like me to... I actually wrote a lot of it b4 I decided it was too much for this thread, and simplified it down to what follows: 1.) Hide. Behind cover, specifically. 2.) Get lock on the Tarancilot in question, either by advancing towards him (in cover) or waiting for him (in cover). Try to make your location one that you have a good escape route, and that has obstacles (between you and the Reds is preferred) that you can fire your Aphids over. 3.) If Ancile is full... for the first volley... fire off 1 Aphid a second ( or maybe 1 every 3/4 second... hard to judge) to deplete the Ancile. It may not bring it all the way down, depends on the levels of your Aphids and the level of his Ancile. 4.) If Ancile is NOT full for the first or any subsequent volley, then shoot them off singly again until the Ancile is down then fire all the rest that are left at once and get as much damage in while it is down, as you can. 5.) If Ancile is all the way down from your last volley, continue to fire one at a time, as the Aphid reload takes long enough that the Ancile Regen could start kicking in as your first or second shot goes in, so if you shoot all 4 it could be a waste. If there is just a little left, treat it like #4. If, however, another teammate shot the Ancile down just before your Aphids got reloaded, shoot all 4 and get the damage in quickly. Repeat #4 or #5 1 to 2 volleys... it should be enough if Aphids are 9+. NOTE - In the video that Russel posted where Blitherin uses an Aphid Jesse, you can see that the Jesse is capable of a lot more shenanigans because of its speed... but it could be played exactly like I play the Patton if you desired... getting the timing of the switch right when firing off Aphids 1 at a time can be a bit challenging, but still doable... so if you have a Jesse with Aphids, consider this as a BASIC guide for you, as well. IMO, YMMV

I'm don't pretend like you don't have personal desires. I'm too busy eating the insides of dead Ancilots to fight the bees for their honey. Ancilots have yummy gooey centers once you crack through their tough, candy coated shells Protip: the Black and Red ones are cherry, the Golden Bear one is chocolate, and the digital camo is mostly nougat.

I squad with him alot, and every time he has this one DB Rhino that he used to charge into Anciles and unleash hell.

I used to rely on Plasma Galahad to counter Ancilot when going solo. But after the buff on the rockets (tulumbas, pin , orkan), my Galahad has become an easy target as there are so many rockets firing at the Galahad from 500M range. So, what do you guys suggest the best bot to counter Ancilot, apart from Plasma Galahad? Try running a punish / thunder lance. Will destroy all his shields very fast. You won't have your shield at the end, but his guns will run dry far before you unload your clip in his facing ending him. Cheaper solutions.. rogs have a surprising amount of health , speed , and equal weaponry. If you hump his leg you can bypass the shield and drop orkan death on him.

I use, typically, one of three bots to take down an ancilot. Thunder Carnage is my primary, especially on close maps. Maneuvering around to ambush, or where I can rush and get inside it's shield and climb on top of it while shooting is what I find to be most effective. I can typically take down a tracelot with that tactic and still walk away. The other two bots I use it my thunder/puisher leo. Just march that sucker down while firing. By the time you get up close, half the health of the tarancilot is gone. The final bot I will use is a leadhose griff. Control the distance at extreme range while you plow the ancile down, adn then I use the leap to close quickly and run through the full mag on it.
