At least 5 times today with stealth engaged, as in 4-5 seconds remaining, I've been plastered by trebs, rockets, and thunders. Died like it wasn't even on. Other matches it seemed to be working just fine.
Anyone else having issues?

Lag.
Honestly. Ever since 2.9.1 the game has been NOTICABLY laggier. Just today alone (for example) I spent a good 8 seconds shooting tarans dead center of a Griffin with the crosshair never once registering red for a hit. Damn near emptied the full magazine for no affect. Next thing I know the griff teleported to nowhere near where I was shooting.
Now, I've experienced lag before, but not for as long of a stretch or as often as I have since 2.9.1.

But if you mentioned Trebs, might be a bug.. You're playing on Android right? Could it be a new bug for the new update? Because the update isn't out for us iOS users yet.

Bro, emptying your Tarans into that Griff ain't meant for damage, is to charge it with plasma so that it can teleport!

The last time I died at 500m+ from a double treb shot. Stealth had been on maybe 3 seconds. I was just about to unload on a red Rhino cruising by and *flash* down I went.

It IS possible though.. Haha

WilsonKNo one near me but the red rhino I was gonna pop and he was headed for another blue. I know every now and then I can take some splash damage, but for a thunder carnage to kill me at 200m while in stealth was a bit much. He wasn't even rushing me at the time. Just seems a little odd.

I just came from Springfield and the same thing happened. I was using the terrain so I'm pretty sure the red and I we're on a different elevation. Magnum hit me like I wasn't on stealth.

stealth mode does not allow target lock but they can still shoot at you and inflict the damage. I have, iOS, killed stalkers in stealth mode with my magnum, taran griff. people have bad misconception about stealth mode

I have had this happen to me a number of times and thought that it was odd. It is only lately that I have started to see if I can hit a stalker in stealth mode and it is possible, particularly if you use line of sight to the target. Aim around until you see it hitting. Flat terrain is very helpful e.g. like Shenzhen. I have noted that the weapon needs to be at a similar elevation though (e.g. top spots on Patton or Doc is a waste of time if you are on the same level).

Also close to maximum distance...When I see stalk mode, I tend to be, if I can, around 300m away from the target to make sure it is hitting and you can see it is hitting the target.

I use Plasma and Rocket splash to kill Stalkers in Stealth mode all the time. Remember that if you were locked on prior to going into stealth mode the lock will stay for a bit. With proper leading on flat ground Red can get in range and kill you with rockets. With Plasma, the Stalker should be slightly elevated. I love it when the Stalkers just sit on the elevated beacons in Power Plant or Canyon. I just use the elevation to my advantage and fire away.
I've also stated in other threads that I'll try to force a stalker near a wall and then fire rockets. The rockets hit the wall and the Splash will damage or kill the Stalker.

Definitely something wrong with Stealth. I consistently get shot by reds even when elevation is a factor. It's not working like it used to

Explosions also have an explosive radius which makes it easy for other bots to damage you despite the lack of a lock-on. Still, lag could be a factor.

Also, you're character isn't in stealth as soon as you activate the ability; it takes like 2-3 seconds before preventing other opponents from locking on, and in the heat of battle, those few seconds can mean the difference between life and death.

Been playing 9/11 Piñata Stalker for 2-3 months, Red definitely hit my Stalker in invisible mode a lot more often recently.
For example, my Stalker used to activate Stealth 2 secs before I get out of cover to attack RDB or DB Griffin (their missiles will just fly above my Stalker). Now, even I activate Stealth 3 secs before I get out of cover to attack RDB one DB Griffin, sometimes I still locked and hit by their missiles. I can tell the my Stalker was still locked by the missiles.

Had a great game today with my Stalker L10, IOS Gold. Capped 5 beacons, for 5 gold. It was a bit strange really because there was lots of shooting going on around me but clearly it wasn't at me, my health barely dropped. This was on Powerplant. Recently the games seem to have a couple of Diamond 3 and some Gold 1 players mixed in.

Indeed, I need to wait 2 seconds so I can attack in stealth mode, that's 6-5 seconds of stealth instead of 8! People seem to be also locked on me if I instantly move.

Stealth mode has been broken for a long time. It has just gotten worse sense the update. I'm lucky to get 5 seconds of stealth before my bot gets directly targeted. It's one thing to get hit with splash, or bad luck, but to actually see the other bots guns train on you while in stealth, is BS.

hahaha I walked into the corridor Beacon on power plant today in a DB and the stalker that had just capped it just stood there and turned stelth on. I fired into the wall next to him and he paniced as soon as his health started going down... too late little fella!
Stalkers can still be hit by a lot of weapons through either splash or just getting hit, there are a lot of places on maps bots can get low enough to hit a stalker, even if it's stealthed.
