Here's our 11 yr old lab Caesar (affectionately known as Geezer). He's crooked as a Political Convention, but still loves to hunt, camp, and ride.

Okay, some photos of a kitty: She like to stick here tongue out, when she sleeps When she is hunting a moth (she's a very skillful hunter): And she like looking at me taking a bath (I have no idea why): And she helps a lot when I clean my shotgun And she's a real cutie overall:

Pets will only hurt you once. When they die. Not really looking forward to that day to be honest Bein' all Catholic, I follow the stuff that Pope Francis writes, and he gives this opinion from his encycical Laudato Si: “Eternal life will be a shared experience of awe, in which each creature, resplendently transfigured, will take its rightful place and have something to give those poor men and women who will have been liberated once and for all" I don't know exactly what it will entail, but I certainly believe we'll see 'em again. However, even if you don't, know that the love you give your pet, and the love they give to you, does not die. The memories you make with them carry on with you, and are present in the good things you do for other people, and in the smile that might come to your face years from now when you see another pet doing something silly that reminds you of your current furball. :-) Their lives are short, but they enrich ours, so that we in turn can enrich the lives of others.
