They are not bad bots, not at all. I personally prefer to use griffins, however in solo play, the rhino can prove to be useful for running and aggressively contending beacons.

I agree, but I used one on the test server and found that in assault mode the turning was horrendous , and having to get out of assault mode to turn at a decent speed again was a pain. Good thing I used the test server before using my hard earned Wsp on it. |

I like running 1 in my main hanger - starting to like the hellfire setup (orkans and mags). Maybe just me but think orkans being mounted closer together (as opposed to griffs having them on the sides) helps with aiming.
A lot of people give up on rhino for the difficult piloting - hence the more rewarding when you actually get good at it.

I use to run the Ork/Mags on the Rhino until Lancelots and Galahads came out. Now I use Ork/CRV Pins which gives me the extra range and durability.

The Rhino was in the trash bin after the heavy bot buff, but since the Aphids came back the TarAphid or OrkAphid Rhinos get a slot in my TT hangar.
50KPH is fast and the Rhino brings in the most knifing firepower to a hit spot in the shortest amount of time. With Aphids and Hydras all around, the Rhino's shield gets it where it needs to be most of the time. If armed with 2 Aphids, the Rhino can hit back Aphid jockeys while motoring to finish them off with its Tatans or Orkans.
I really don't think the Rhino will ever be obsolete to the point where they are like Boas (the former dominate bot before the Rhino) in TT due to its speed, HP/shield, and firepower combo.
Funny, but I have 2 Lancelots that don't normally use since the Aphid buff - because I brought out my Rhinos out of mothballs to better deal with the new realities of high missile usage.
