I have honestly stopped seeking advice on this forum. When the toxic members are removed/leave and a sense of community returns maybe we will have true trusted contributors again. Good news, we're meeting you halfway. A sense of community is a bottom-up process, not top-down. Stitching that quilt back together is going to be on you guys and all of us admins. What we have been doing more of recently is showing the door to posters whose contribution to the Forum is highly subjective at best, and nonexistent at worst. If you're here to learn and teach, to connect with other fans in a positive spirit, and have a helluva lot of fun while you're at it, this is a great place to be. If you're one of those people whose prime motivation is self-amusement, much at the expense of others or what's been established here by so many... ...well, enjoy it while it lasts.  |

I would like to say that i have a really big list of names, because i like to hear many people opinions, even if they differ with mine. <snip> A few names i would recommend for their helpfulness are Russel , zer00eyz , 0ppressor , +DethHilt+ , hyderier , FRΞΞDØM☆F1GHTΞR , Paps , Ⅎ₹ѺC₭₩ELDEℲ₹ , Golden Sabre , @darkangel12s , and i'm sure i'm forgetting many others that would deserve to be mentioned. Post of the year in respect to how heartfelt this post was.......and not just due to my name (which I thank you for , no seriously thank you) being mentioned |

I think it's obvious, there are major personality and tactical perspective that clash here ( unfortunately sometimes this leads to some bad taste in mouthes ), but there is definitely a hierarchy here. Like the cleaners in "wool" (book recommendation imbedded), I suspect getting a green paint job isn't all candy and roses anyway. I keep seeing green names go inactive... |

In many cases, the more ins and outs you know about the current state of the game, the less enjoyment you get out of it when it's fundamentally changed. Loss aversion and all that. The TC tag just means that you're on point with the information and advice you give when you're posting, and an immediate flag for any newer folks you might be talking to that you're not full of horse hockey. As long as you keep up quality posts and people know you well enough to know the difference between a joke, a perspective, and a by-the-numbers statement, it's all good. |

Unfortunately you might be waiting for an eternity. This forum, as in real life, has members of its community that both add to and detract from it. Sometimes even that is a matter of your own personal perspective. It would be a shame if you allowed the people who detract from this forum to ruin the sense of community by not focussing your attention to those who bring value to it. TCs are indeed around, otherwise we probably wouldn't all still be here. |
