Gentlemen, I need your input on the following. From this thread: war-robots-forum.freeforums.net/thread/354/matchmaker-tier-guidetinthefiend wrote: "WSP bots and britbots: Carnage, Fujin, Galahad and Gareth are all weighted by MM as Heavy bots" In other threads I regularly see members using Medium Robot class for Galahad when calculating hangar score. I have started levelling Galahad higher than the Heavies due to my belief that Galahad was a MM medium bot and 145 points lower compared to a Heavy class robot. So my question is simply, is Galahad a medium class or heavy class when calculating Hangar score?

Ummm...No.WSP and britbots RAISE your highest level bot's score by 20% meaning no matter what level your galahad or whatever is,it will raise you a tier higher than where you should except if your in gold where those kinds of penalties dont matter much.for example,if you want to use your gala in low silver, you should level EVERY single bot the same as a high bronze hanger to use it at that level.MM only calculates your highest level bot class(including weps).
Was it helpful?

Your statement reflects my understanding of WSP and britbot MM penalty of +20%, but I believe this is a seperate matter.
Let' look at what tinthefiend specifically wrote in his MM thread:
"WSP Bots and Britbots : Carnage, Fujin, Galahad, and Gareth are all weighted by MM as Heavy Bots" -tinthefiend quote taken from this thread war-robots-forum.freeforums.net/thread/354/matchmaker-tier-guide
He specifically mentions three medium bots and one light bot. He does not mention Raijin and Rhino f.ex as they are heavy bots.
This is why Im asking if these bots fall in the heavy robot class. And thus calculating MM score would be +145 hangar score due to heavy robot class vs medium robot class.

I upped my galahads to 7 over the heavies on 6. If they were weighted as heavies i think i would have noticed a difference.

To elaborate, on Android my top hanger set includes a Rhino at H6/8 that I've been using for several months now. This means I'm already being 'penalized' for having a WSP bot in my hanger (never mind the high win rate). More recently, I added a Carnage and a Galahad at M6/8, but discovered they were both effectively glass cannons in actual combat, and didn't have the survivability to reliably capture even a single beacon. I gold farmed like crazy and upgraded both of them to M10/10. According to the *numbers* this puts both of my medium bots' ratings as slightly higher than my heavy bots. I have not noticed a significant change in the quality of my opponents. I *have* seen my 2 medium bots kick so much 「bum-bum」 in a match since being upgraded that several times I didn't even have to pull out one of my heavy bots before we won.

I think somewhere begin from low gold the penalty actually seize to exist. At least that was the theory..
