Yep you heard it folks. They do more damage now. My level 11 punishers went from dealing 185 damage per bullet to 333. They don't seem to have the acceleration mode or the shield busting ability but this will help the players in the lower tiers.

Jeez should I get a punisher Cossack now? That'll make my hangar:
Taran Cossack Orkan Cossack Punisher Cossack Tulu Cossack [Hydra Cossack]
That'd be siq as! Now I actually get some variation lol

Stew Pendous mentioned this in one of his latest test server videos so I tried it. Unfortunately, I haven't used Molots in a long time so couldn't really tell the difference. It was fun trolling though

I'm testing my Taran punisher rhino out and it does pretty well.

So do you think this gun buff will make firearms viable in gold tier? I like the punishers a molots but hate I couldn't use them in high tiers

I suspect that there's some bugs/typos for Punisher(single).
The buff for Molot/Molot(T)/Punisher(T) is somewhere between 10%~20% (depends on weapon Lv). However for Punisher, it's 70%~80% if I did my math correctly. Gosh that would be unfair...

I don't own many but it looks like tulus (and likely pins) have changed damage stats a bit. Damage for the Zeus also now shows 10.2k for level 8 instead of just 10k, but that's just a difference in the way it's displayed.

Anybody know if the heavy molot (protolot?) is still in the works? That one would be interesting

Where the heck is the Protolot??? I've been waiting for nearly 6 months for thus weapon.
I really don't care about the Molots or Punishers since I'll not use them with all the Aphids flying around --- really, you expect me to be in the open for a full unload Molots/Punishers? The risk to reward is just too high on the risk side for me to use anything that requires that long an unload for pretty low damage dealt, while exposing myself to enormous amounts of damage from Tridents, Tuls, and Aphids.

In the words of our Pixonic confidant:
"Both Punisher and Molot got equalized to Punisher T and Molot T. Now they have lesser clips, more damage per shot and reload time equal to T analogues. DPS remained the same."
Not exactly a buff...

Not exactly a buff... it does make it more convenient for OCD players such as myself who would fire the end part of the medium guns just so that I can have both fully reloaded ;p

When I have 7 bursts remaining in my tarans I empty them out on walls so that I have full clip of 8 bursts... Everybody does this right?

Looking at the in-game description of each weapon at level 1, the Molot and Molot T do the same damage per bullet (151), have the same reload time but the T has twice the rate of fire. I don't see how that can be the same relative DPS as before. There's definitely something wrong with the in-game data in the Punishers as the clips and RoF are the same for both version. This seems like basic quality control stuff that is being missed. Also, why is this an unannounced change not covered by the patch notes? I get the impression that they might not actually know exactly what they implemented.

I've like my Molot/Molot T Griffin more than I was prepared to admit before, as a mid level, last of four kinda Bot, but if it's buffed - Maybe I'll be able to use it proudly now! I do enjoy annoying Fujins from 600m out, keeping their shields down...

The T now has twice the dps of the norms, which makes more sense due to the design of the Ts. That's what he means.

Combining the info from Pixonic confidant, my testing and my guess, I suspect that the Punisher (light) has its damage figure wrongly doubled (description only) In summary the overall the (guessed) change would be: AC molot +10%~20% output AC molot T +50%~60% output GAU Punisher -10% output GAU Punisher T +10%~20% output (too lazy to calculate change in magazine capacity) I know it's ridiculous that the Punisher is nerfed, but based on the info that Medium ver. = 2x Light ver. now, this would be the best guess.

I normally run 4/7 golems in silver, but with the guns buff I've been running level 6 Leos with a level 5 thunder and level 1 punishers. It's surprisingly effective, especially <300m and all for about the same MM score.
From personal experience it also beats the double thunder/punisher Nat.

I use a molot Patton regularly, so I have the singles levelled, but the whole "T is 2x better than single" thing is pissing me off a bit. Might as well run a Molot /Molot T / hvy of your choice Golem as it will be better in every way.

(50% more firepower...)
