seanhNormally I don't bother checking what blues drop. I do squad with the same people a lot, though. Cuts down on surprises. But sometimes (depending on map) you can pan the camera around before you spawn a mech and scope out both spawns. Not 100% accurate, but that's the only way I know to check what's been dropped. Except waiting for the match to start without spawning. Which I can't recommend. Edit: I was taught there's no such thing as a stupid question (there is, don't get me wrong, but yours isn't one of em). Any question stemming from a legitimate desire to learn is not stupid. Don't hesitate to ask. This forum is an excellent resource for knowledge, both game-wise and not.

Didn't see my option.
I've been tinkering around with a Punisher Griffin. I've been opening with that lately.
Results are still out since I've been leveling him still. Now that the guns are all at level 9, things are getting better. I'll make a full accounting once they're 11. Even at 9, though, they burn through Anciles quite nicely.

Yessir, not a problem, seanh. Dunno if your question was answered satisfactorily, but that's the best I got ? Maybe some more knowledgeable others can elaborate.

unless I'm squadding and running support for clan mates who are trying to accomplish something, typically I start with my Gunship Griff. The molots give me range to counter all the snipers/midrange clunkers, and allows me to survey the red team and how they are operating/opening up with. Since the Griff has such good mobility for a large bot, I can cover pretty much any map in almost all directions. The only one that I don't do that on is the moon map. That one gets a CQB bot.

Typically TT Fury on Yam, Canyon, SF, and Shen. Power Plant and Dead City get DB Galahad first as a beacon runner/Gareth killer.

Almost always Plasmahad to go after beacons. I will likely turn to plasma-gareth when it will enter lineup (upgrading it now). The only exception is Yamantau, where I usually open with Stuka Griffin to take part to the initial center-beacon-slaughterhouse. I tried some other alternatives, like Carnazeus on Canyon / Shenzhen, or Ancilot on Dead City, but was not impressed by the results.

Plasmahad on Shenzen, yama, and canyon Thunder Carnage on dead city and powerplant Orkan Rog on moonmap
I am least satisfied with my starter on canyon.

99.9% of the time I lead with Plasmahad, regardless of the map. The only exception is when squadding with a particular clanmate, we both drop in with Rogs and hunt as a duo, a mini-pack.

Map dependent.
Short range maps, thunder carnage.
Long range maps, if I want to go for beacon, I go DB/PDB rhino and head straight for center.Otherwise, I drop my trident/pin Natasha to support.

Well, the way my hangar was set up earlier was from least hp to most hp... so I was dropping my Carnage first... but I replaced my Carnage with a Lancelot after two Carnages destroyed my Carnage in back-to-back battles... so now I drop my Galahad first, and then my Rogatka, and then my Griffin, and then my Lancelot, and finally my Leo. Doesn't matter which map I get... I always drop the "weakest" (hp-wise) first.

It depends on the map and what the reds drop in. I never drop in before I see my teammates and/or the whatever I can see of the red starting lineup.. For some reason I am on IOS and I can't see my team mates bots, but usually open with RDB Griffin

Depends on the map. Usually Gary if I want to cap, but if it's a long distance map I'll start Zeus Fury.
