...donated money to a game developer to continue developing a game you liked (so it wouldn't have a final version) or to develop a part 2 of a game you liked?
I used to play a single-player game called Caravaneer ( caravaneer.gamesofhonor.com/ )... and the dev said he was too busy to develop a part 2, so some of us paid him to be less busy.
Took him 7 freakin' years! By the time he released Caravaneer 2, I'd lost interest. I don't regret donating $500 to him, though... I can play it one day.
