I usually get medal of capture in most of my games, so I'm looking forward to this!

I sort of missed the irony in your post but had a chuckle when you explained. We're together on this! Well if Santa won't give me extra silver or gold at the very least he should show my capping average. On the hangar page you get the damage points average, win average and number of bots killed average but no capping average. So if run 2 or 3 stalkers I'm always at the bottom of the game score page and my squad or clan mates have to think I tanked or something. Its crazy!!!!!!!!! We're absolutely together on this. I agree it should be included in our statistics, that would show the relevance that players are demanding for beacon capping.

I love this new point distribution system. I just got +9 points on a losing team... +7 for top damage and +2 for captures. I used a level 7 Gareth, level 6 Stalker, level 7 Carnage, level 7 Galahad and level 7 Rogatka... with level 5-7 weapons.

I really like the new points system. I've won more games than lost and seem to be climbing up slowly. Before the last update I would yo-yo from Gold 3 to Gold 1 and back down to Gold 3. Because the positive points are much lower I climb more slowly, but with a + score for top two places on the losing squad and +1, 2 or 3 for beacons at the moment my rating points are climbing slowly. I didn't realize the high negative score was a disincentive for tankers but I can see how it must be having an effect. All in all I think (I certainly hope) this will largely fix the tanking issue.

Damn it, where's the fix for soft tanking and extremely wide match making at iOS e3? Fix it so iOS e3 don't have to fight masters and champions. I don't mind fighting 10/10s but fighting 11/12s is ?Cow Chips?. A 9/9 can easily get into e3 where he has to ?firetruck?ing fight with and against 12/12s consistently. So not much gold rewards since he won't be able to outdamage 12/12s unless he wants to go for beacon duty in which case silver earnings drop. So basically bottom fodder in games where he will always end up in middle place to dead last, and when you get games where you're one of the few experts among diamonds? ?firetruck?ing 12/12 soft tankers in diamonds and e3. Also, is Medal of Capture still random even though they came up with damage as the defining factor for equal captures? /rant on This is exactly my main issue and where I've been stuck for months now. (Expert II) For me it certainly feels matches against Master and Champion league are more common than facing my own league, if not at least equal with one another. It is a horrible purgatory to end up in and I earn a pittance from matches due to opponents being constantly shielded one way or another, whilst I get eaten alive by max damage. Without premium I average 120k silver per match, and with upgrades costing 7.5mil to 9mil+ for the next level...the maths is obvious. On paper the damage difference between level 9 or 10 to 12 isn't significant, but in battle it makes a huge difference. Made worse by how nearly every other bot is a Lancelot now so I need to expose myself to return fire while I try to wear down the shield and naturally their higher HP and dmg will overpower me every time. Not to mention all notion of tactical play goes out the window in this limbo. I don't even bother anymore. Very common to see the enemy team with 4+ Lancelots in play at all times now. It's a horrible position to be in and it has completely killed my enthusiasm for the game currently. Sad to say but the emphasis on pay-to-win is quite apparent at this stage. /rant off P.S. Thanks for passing on the info though Dredd77

Thanks for passing on the info though Dredd77 You can always join the leaver's queue, with lv 9-11 equipment and somewhat okay skill, I bet you can stay in top 3 most of the games. They say they will cut the rewards in LQ, but I've not seen any reduction of my silver/gold income, which are definitely higher than if I play regular master/champions. Basically Pixonic is still encouraging people to play LQ with their messed up system. Btw I don't tank at all and usually don't leave games, just leaving the occasional hopeless matchups (e.g. 1v5, 2v6 etc.) was enough to keep me in the LQ.

The more I play since the update the more I think they've got the MM sorted, or mostly sorted. I've started checking the tier/league of the all the players in the games I play and, like me, they're mostly Gold. There are occasionally silver players and more occasionally Diamond players, but for the most part they're Gold. The teams don't always balance out at the same number of Gold 1, 2 or 3 players but since I've been checking even when my team has more Gold 3s than the other side they still win. If yo-yo'ed up and down between 1, 2 and 3 so I don't think there's a huge difference between the tiers, except perhaps high Gold 1 and low Gold 3. I really haven't noticed much in the way of tankers or faders, or if they're playing in my team I just don't seem to notice.

I love the new changes. I prefer to play solo, but I play during such random times that I can't squad up with good players. So, my win percentage is about 50-50, but my rating goes up about +150 per day. So, wining the battle is a goal, but not the end of the world when a full clan clobbers my team.
With the old system, my ranking would crop because I'm not playing on a good squad. So yes.. as a "good squad producer", my ranking was low. But as a skilled War Robots player, my ranking is high. That's how it should be. For those players who aren't afraid to fight it out on their own, you've rewarded them properly. Thank you, Pixonic.
For those who are afraid to play unless the deck is stacked in your favor, have fun dividing up your points and rising in the rankings at a slower pace. Your low risk play comes at a price.
And I'm often getting the most beacons from the 12 players in the battle, so don't even try the "camper" accusation.
