If I'm on the forum I often answer my wife without looking up from my pad. She brought that fact up, so I fixed the situation like any good husband would and used her picture as my avatar.
"See," I said, holding up the pad for her to see. "I'm looking right at you."
Gentlemen, all I can say is the joke went downhill from there. However, the fun part happened when I fired up my pad this morning to multiple, "How you doin, babe?" questions, or comments on how pretty I am.
I have since deleted the photo, but I now regret doing so. I mean, how often does the perfect opportunity to catfish more than one person at a time come along?

I will say that I looked at the avatar and looked at the posts and didn't think they meshed. I eventually saw confirmation of that.
I have some belief that there are females here, but that they are in hiding given the average attitude of anonymous males on the internet.

Say it often enough and she"'ll be more concerned when you don't mention it. I've had the privilege of being happily married for a total of 32 years, so it has become an ingrained habit. She may question your eyesight on occasion, but she does like to hear the words. |

nocluevok, I think it's great that you wanted to show off your wife. She is very pretty. I also think it's great that you are proud of your boy. Even if he is poor decision maker (booo Packers). Cheers brother. Insane Demon, I cannot help but pity that male lion. He was probably just chillin' with a brew, watchin' the zebras run, and forgot to do the dishes or something, and then bam, he's in big trouble. I have been there so many times.

@heavypanda don't tell me you like Da Bears! I've been a GB fan since I was 6 and haven't changed teams once.
And no, not in trouble. I have the luxury of being a stay at home dad. Dishes, laundry, diapers and dinner are my are daily routine. Although, with 2 & 4 yr old boys, nothing is ever truly routine.

I know everyone is commenting with dark humor and have no real ill-will (mostly), but I would ask for everyone to refrain from social and political commentary and sniping on this forum.
Dredd isn't the only one with powers on the forum though he's the most active.
