Here's a thread for those of us that love the challenge of killing Geps to brag about it. I find it extremely gratifying to knock these guys down a notch. It doesn't always happen, probably about 50/50 and mostly on Springfield, Canyon or Shenzhen where you can catch them in the open better. I'll start with this one from today. Started by taking out 2 Gepards running for center with my midrange Golem, which died soon after. Used my Gepard to steal some beacons, then jumped in the Boa's to defend center beacon. As I had them pushed back, I took out my Aphid Patton, and wandered over to center beacon, where I knew they would need to slow down to cap and I took out their last Gepard there. Then it was a march to their spawn, knocking down the rest of their support team with the Aphids. Luckily, my team was surprisingly conscious of the value of beacons, otherwise we probably would not have won, as I wouldn't have been able to get back across the map.

When I play mediums in low silver, my 2 thunder taran mag golems tear Geps up. Love it.

Nice ones. I have a particular taste for STYX members. As soon as I see them, my game strategy changes to eliminate the Styx, do it with prejudice, and make them have a really bad one, lol. Lions Den too. Don't know why.

Personally, when I see those FX clubbers, its my personal (and sometimes my squadmates) goal to target them first. Though we don't see them very often in Silver+, guess their only skill is hitting new players.. ¯\_(?)_/¯

I've seen all of those clubbers, but I tend to run into [EOE} or (whatever that is) the most. I just beat one today on PP, actually. It was tight but we meched him out.
Raptor Pack (Tactics,Veterans) are another you see a lot. And their whole thing is all Geps/Rogs. You'll rarely catch one of them solo, though.

Besides FX and Raptor Tactics, RUIN is another one that is clubber-tastic if I'm not mistaken. Don't see them in high silver/low gold that much really, but it's fun to try to 'ruin' their day when they do show up. I've lost to Raptor Tactics more times than I care to admit in my earlier days with low silver hangars.

Hazardous could be in the gang, too. Their leader runs a full gep-hangar. Mags, aphids, pinatas, the works... They tried to recruit me, but I declined. Hehe, when I join a Clan, It'll be one with a funny name and funny people.

I ran into a red wiki on android this evening while running a 6/6.5ish heavy hanger. Forget the name...two words I think. Started with a D. Maybe second word S. Running around Yama in a carnage, looking rather lost at first. Tried to get close enough and angled to say hi with rdb griff, but had my hands full. I believe I gave them a tickle later with tridents and a zeus when I camped my fury square in the middle for a while, lol.
I've been hit up by clans regularly, mostly clubbers. A few per week for the last month. IRON BULLYZ yesterday. Sorry. I'm a lone wolf. A Ronin. I like the challenge of randoms and answer to no one.

I'm just waiting, till I got a good enough Hangar and you got a place, I could fit in.

RUIN is another one that is clubber-tastic if I'm not mistaken. I ran into them last night in Power Plant. There were 3 RUIN reds with 13 lvl 4 geps in total and mostly lvl 12 mags. Me and the other blues had lvl 8 bots and weapons at most, except 1 that had a few lvl 11 weapons. It was a chaotic nonsense battle for a while, reds took the lead and I was 'sure' we would lose but I stuck it out and somehow, by a sliver, we won. Those RUIN guys had a 94% win rate and I was glad to be part of that 6%.

it's much more fun and relaxing like i play now. i just quit playing with money slingers. i go solo on random teams so if i see a money slinger group i just bail and move on to the next battle. i have a lot more fun and i'm not stressed by trying to take on people who have no idea how to play the game but have lots of money to spend on geps with maxed weapons that you can only get by slinging money.

Well there was that wonderful time I took on an aphid Gepard and a pinata Gepard at the same time, and killed them both. Took almost no damage.
Punchline is, I was in a magnum Gepard. Was in canyon, in an open area. Watch ranges, execute your dodges properly, good to go. Was like playing Raiden or something.

When I'm playing the notorious clubbers are IPC, Garuda, Gstar and IndonesiaPilot. Dealing with the MagGeps usually aren't too much of a problem as I can at least kill one to one, unfortunately my hanger is not very good vs aphids on geps...

We did this earlier. We were running our usual high silver/low gold hangers, and MM blessed us with a full clan of [DR] Death Row clubbers, We had fun meching them with midrange trids, and RDBs

This was awesome. Pretty much 2 on 2, the rest of both teams were pretty n00b. Excellent example of the MM trying to screw everybody over. On my team only one other member even had a Gepard, assuming he bought the discounted one like I did, so we only had 2 Geps on our side, and the usual "I'm just starting out" equipment and bots in our 4 slots. Then there was the 2-pilot squad of trolling seal clubbers, one with the dreaded 5*TMGep hanger, and the other [both] with an amazing mixed bag of loadouts, but all on Geps. We won because of beacon domination. I think these fools were a bit over confident too :
