I think there are bots that can't be assessed accurately on the test server—especially ones that have low HP and no shield or stealth. Test server bots and weps are maxed out; as a result the new light and medium bots didn't last all that long. Not to mention, many testers test anything but the new bots.
Not impressed by the new bots; certainly not in gold tier.

The only bot worth using as they are now is the medium with Tulumbas or Orkans (what a waste though... 4 Orkans on 1 bot )

Agreed. I was completely unimpressed by the new bots and only played them a couple of times before getting bored. I found them to be without any depth and are just a novelty at best. I feel the light bot is the most irrelevant and that sentiment seems to be shared by the community from what I've seen and read so far. But this irrelevance is mostly due to a lack of viability for light hardpoint weapons. Perhaps I'll be proven wrong by a creative player when they go live though.

Indeed. Maybe they'll do better in lower tier but running them on the test server was irksome.

We have no idea how the bots will scale speed and hp wise. And lights and most mediums don't belong in a maxed environment anyway. Everyone seems to forget this. Thesee bots will find a place in lower tiers. Don't think any will be high gold material, but I think these can shake up bronze and silver. 4x Orkan Medium slinger would be deadly DB. 2 orkans to unload would take longer but essentially stronger than DB Griff since medium and can level Orks higher. Hopefully the light and medium will start with decent speed at lvl1.

I gave up because the switchbots just didn't last against current bots to really figure out the best way to use the switch. I mixed some short range and med range weps and with the long cool down, it didn't seem like much of an advantage vs a griff or Patton with 4 hardpoints in use at all times. Plus I had some long MM wait times.
Cheers!

If they are released as WSP bots that for some reason do not have a MM penalty, then the light may see play in low tiers and the medium may see play in the silver tiers/low gold. As for the heavy well... no, just no.
