Only good all silver setup in the higher tiers is the RDB Griff.

I read this thread and slapped four pinatas (half level 7, half level 5) on my Patton. Never doing that again. Pattons are slow and 80-90% of my games involve at least 2 enemy Gepards with Magnums. They race towards me and then swerve or backtrack when I reach the 300m mark. I unload and hit them but not enough to destroy them. Then I'm a beached whale looking at hyenas. You have to find a way to lure them in closer. At 300m most of your rockets will miss. Id say under 200m it's best.

Might as well stick my bot leg out and trip them at that range. Thanks for the tip!

And I got creamed by a Piñata Gepard, twice! So I tried out that platform, night and day! Sure I loose one piñata but the speed makes up for it! We all have our own preferences I guess.

All silver favorite? As far as pure fun... I like the Patton and Griff Punishers. Even the Golem and Boa Thunder + Punishers. Great fun. (Did I mention I like Punishers? I do. They sound so goooood) The Punisher builds are halfway decent in Silver tier as long as there aren't too many shield/ancile bots... Just not as good as plasma or splash.... and you have to get pretty close to see the damage bar move with any satisfaction. However, for suppression, it can sure cause distraction if you are getting pelted by effectively 6 Gatling guns all at once (in the case of the Griff), even from a range that doesn't hurt too bad.
BUT... I agree with, and I like, the Griff RDB as far as the most effective all Ag setup in the gold tiers.
2nd in effectiveness would be the Griff Molot, I think. It can actually be a somewhat effective deterrent against the mid-range Fury Trident as is... but if the firearm buff ever hits... would be a definite contender for MVP of many battles. A lot of the bots and weapon combos would be re-examined if that happens (fingers crossed for Christmas update). I would love to have a reason to run all Punishers on my shield bots... *salivates like Pavlov's dog sitting next to a church at 12 O' Clock.*
EDIT: The Leo Pinata Thunder is most likely the better choice for 2nd place in effectiveness, and is pretty fun to play with proper weapon levels. A cheap, high HP tank that can dish out a good bit of pain, even to Galahads. With Lances and Rhinos you have to be a little more cautious, throw a couple of volleys their way from cover (or very near it so you can duck behind it and reload) before charging in with the last volley and engaging with the Thunder.

4x Molot Patton - probably my favorite mech. Engage at mid-range, then backpedal to stay outside 350. I particularly like this setup on the canyon map.
4x Pin Patton - similar to above, shoot and scoot gives it more survivability at the expense of sustained fire
4x Pinata Patton - everyone knows this one, with good reason. Need to use cover to get point blank shots.
Thunder & Pin / Pinata Vityaz - Hits hard and can take some hits too.

Best pure silver bot has to be RDB Griffin. Thunder/Pinata Leo, Pinata Patton & Thunder Shutze are all good though.

RDB Griffin is hands down the best Ag bot, and remains competitive all the way to top because of all the shielded bots out there. Thunder Pinata Leo is an acceptable Ag only setup from mid silver to low gold and can rip more expensive bots apart in seconds, but has to be extremely close to its targets do deal any major damage.

Piñata Patton RDB Griffin Thunder Piñata Vityaz, Leo and Natasha
Or with Tasha... trade the piñata for ECU and transform into a shotty turret

Tasha sucks, it's too slow. You shouldn't be using any shield on your bots either outside of built-in shields. The leo is a mediocre bot to start with unless you put aphids and a thunder on it. Patton and vityaz are just not good in the first place.
Only good all ag setup is the rdb griff.

It still isn't a bad bronze medium while you save Au, wsp and upgrade your Boa in the background.

Patton with ecu is basically a slow durable gepard with weaker weapons,Id rather put them on fragile light cappers for protection against their worst enemy, plasma.I tried a poor mans raijin(ecu snider tasha),a raider(2xmag/aphid/pinata thuder ecu leo,I use the shield mainly to block any possible aphid attacks)and they were a good set ups but still ranks below to the non-ecu users(except tasha, only cvr/ecu/spirals can work magic as her tiny arms)

It teaches you patience, for sure. I tried five times, I feel so sluggish. And I got creamed by a Piñata Gepard, twice! So I tried out that platform, night and day! Sure I loose one piñata but the speed makes up for it! We all have our own preferences I guess. well a pinata gepard with the same hangar score as a pinata Patton has pretty much the same firepower, so obviously the gepard is better. Gepard/anything works in bronze - low silver.
