I opened like 50 1000 gold chest... Here's what I got... Bots: 1x Butch 4x Fury 1x Jesse 1x Rog 1x Galahad 4x Gareth 2x Gepard Weapons: 1x Ancile 2x Zeus 1x Aphid 3x Gekko What changes could I make? Butch - don't see this happening. I would gladly give this thing away... I have no trebs. Fury - what am I going to do with 4 of these guys? HAHAHA - I have two lvl 8 tridents so I'm off to a decent start. Jesse - I would of preferred a Doc. Seems gimmicky. Basically a patton with speed that cannot use all of the 4 weapons at once... and people pay gold for this?... Rogatka - This seems neat. Would like to see what this bot can do... Galahad - Love my Galahad. I was spinning for a Lance... What should I replace? Gareth - Again - Maybe one - but now I have 4!! HAHA Gepard - I used to see this guys all the time... Any time I would think of using this I'll remind myself that I have 4 Gareths. Ancile - Was saving for a lance before the event - So I will need this. Ancile aphid leo? Zeus - really excited I got two of these - Zeus Carnage! Aphid - already on my leo - great set up! Gekko - Use these on....? lol Help me make some hangar changes!...

That is a lot of gold chests. Seriously. Did you spend RL cash or just roll with it as you won?

Keep the Butch. Don't sell it.
Sell 2 Furies and keep the other 2.
Sell two Gareths. Keep everything else.
Replace the Thunder Carnage with a Trident Fury or a Trident Zeus Butch. Keep the Galahad. Replace the Plasma Griffin with a Taran Aphid Griffin or something else. Leo is fine, but aim on replacing that with a Lancelot.
It would also help if we knew how much gold you have left.

I can only speak for the Rogatka and the Zeus.
The Rogatka is quick and its "Jump" is high and long with a small (2 sec.) Cooldown after landing. However, it is less durable than the other "medium" Mecha. To compensate it is fitted with two "medium" hardpoints that make it especially dangerous with the right Pilot. Outfitted with two Orkans it can take down a Garath and do considerable damage to the enemy.
The Rogatka, as mentioned, possesses less armour than its counterparts. This makes it less capable in protracted fire-fights and better suited to flanking assaults in a supporting role. A pilot who wishes to get their hands dirty, should consider longer range weaponry, such as the Molots and Punishers, to help ensure survivability.
The Zeus cannon is a devastating weapon. It is able to penetrate the Ancile Shield system and do massive damage to its target. It is an essential weapon on the battlefield and can turn the tide of a battle and force the enemy to retreat.
It requires a Pilot to "Lock on" and the tango to be in direct view. Any obstruction; building, elevation change, natural formation, etc..., between you and your target will impede its effectiveness and cause it to do no damage to the target. But where the Zeus cannon really shines is its ability to track the target. For example, if a Pilot unloads on a "Jumping" Cossack it will track the tango both vertically and laterally while delivering its payload.
It has a short Cooldown, 5 seconds, until next charge. However, it will not be at full charge and deliver only half of its potential. It takes approximately 7 seconds to full charge.

That is a lot of gold chests. Seriously. Did you spend RL cash or just roll with it as you won? Yeah! Started with 8,500 Gold - I'd win a bot or weapon then more gold. I hovered around 5,000 gold for most of my spins. It was pretty fun!

Objection! As to removing the Thunder Carn... man lately, I am dealing with and enjoying playing that beast more and more... especially on the Moon Base... A pack of 2 or more can wreck on that base! They have always been a terror on PP and DC... but lately both myself and clan mates have been doing well on SF and Canyon and Yam. I am slowly feeling my preference for Midrange slide back to the RDB and my Thunder bot preference back to the Carny. The main reason I have been running a Thundorkan Lance up until now is because I have only leveled 1 Thunder up to par with the rest of my hangar... with 2 close behind... but have felt like I needed as many 9s in my hangar as I can get. As soon as my Ancile gets to 9... 2nd Thunder to 9 will commence... and the Thundorkan will become an Ancilot and the Thunder bot will be a Carny. It is just sooooo deadly if you can be selective. I have contained 2-3 reds at a time in the city area across from the farm in SF, just using the built in Ancile and buildings for cover and picking those dudes off as they came at me. Each went through at least 1 bot, but they never could root me out of the area! I had both weapons and 600 HP at the end of that fight! LOL! The Rush allows you to get to different cover quickly if they try and group up... just angle so that you are always isolating one from the others and take him out. From 100m... that is not hard and lasts mere seconds. Nay, I say... Stay your hand... all hail the Thunder Carn! Long live Carnage! May its Thunder shake the ground under your enemies' feet! JMO, YMMV

As for your Gold, buy 2 more Orkans if you don't have 4 in total and then save for a Lancelot.

Store your gekkos but they might become relevant again if the current buffed version on the test server goes live.

I want to know your favorite playstyle. Giving advice, without knowing what you like to play, might backfire...

I want to know your favorite playstyle. Giving advice, without knowing what you like to play, might backfire... My playstyle stinks at cover and corner shooting. I'm pretty aggressive to a fault. Rarely am I around to play until the end of a match. I always stay and watch and learn how I should have been a bit more conservative. I have a pair of lvl 8 tridents in storage because I like to get in there and throw a brick... My DB Griff lets me jump in destroy most anything and walk out. But can be hit or miss if not played right by me. Not feeling my PDB as of late - too much line of sight time. It does damage but the griff is not exactly a tank. Thunder carnage is nice when you can sneak up on someone but 50% of the time I am toast before that happens. I think this is why I am liking the thunder fury. It is a timing bot as well but much more forgiving. Galahad is tried and true - fits my play style the best. Though corner shooting would increase my survivability. My thunder aphid leo - when is makes contact - is great. I still feel like I'm rushing in with them most of the time.

I don't want to be rude, or offend you, but I think, you would be either the perfect, or the worst, Gareth player. Do me a favor and try it for beacon capping. Just two, or three matches. Tell me, how you performed, please.

You say you overextend yourself?
What about a thunder trident butch?
Start with tridents and when you have overextended yourself pull out the thunders.

Is this true about the zeus? I've never heard it before.

Tell me, how you performed, please. So I played several battles last night with Gareth in my lineup and wow! You were right - I loved playing that bot first. I always capped a few beacons and could usually knock out a few reds along the way with him. He's fast and sturdy. What's not to like? I was really shooting for a lance during this event but I ended up getting everything but a lance lol. I think it made me a better player. I am exploring different areas of play that I were previously unfamiliar. Plus - not scoring a lance this time gives me something to shoot for in the future! Thanks for suggesting the Gareth! Now the next question. What else should I try? haha - You don't have to answer that if you don't want to. : )

Play the Butch. I seen noob pilots operating this so go to sniper school. If your a pro sniper, then you can recognize the noobs who don't know how to fire properly. SOrry, forgot to mention, use 4 Trebs.

Put zeus on carnage and don't sell butch, if you have 3 tridents then put on fury (replace your leo), if you have 2 tridents put it on butch with 2x kang daes or 2x thunders.

You might want to try the trifecta of heavy weapons platforms. The Natasha is good for Trebs and Gekkos.
