www.janestreet.com/puzzles/the-wright-stuff/I've been hacking away at this puzzle for an hour or two now without much success, so I thought maybe our collective efforts could make some progress. Here are my thoughts so far: It looks to be a sort of "falling" crossword puzzle, where you delete words and the letters above fall down to fill the spaces. I'm fairly confident this is the case because you can find the words "mineral" and "fountain" in this fashion and also the provided hints allude to gravity and mention that some parts of the puzzle may "evaporate". At the end there should be a single row of 11 letters that is the answer to the puzzle (and is presumably an historical landmark in the US which, guessing from the title, has something to do with the Wright brothers). I guessed this from the hint that all letters are somehow used exactly once. The problem is that I can't find any decent-length words after mineral, fountain, and bottled. I mean, there's tons of 3 and 4 letter words but I doubt they could be part of a solution since you can remove them in multiple orders with multiple results. Any thoughts? Here's what it looks like after those first three words are removed:

Care to post the original, just in case other words had to come first?
