Google Drive Link for MP3 recording of the round table (you have to download it, google drive web player cannot stream it) drive.google.com/open?id=0B9O80L6GIvQgZTZZQ0ZvVlpLTUkOr stream online from YouTube: I provided the Audio file "no strings attached" to the other YouTubers that were there. They have a much larger audience & I would like as many players to know about this as possible. Anyone else can feel free to reuse/repost/redistribute as you see fit. Added time stamps, they would be accurate for the Audio file as well. If anyone wants's to volunteer to document timestamps in this thread I'll add it to the description on the video. Took me 6 hours to get it encoded and uploaded, it's test server time before they take the crazy moon bunnies away

This is probably a daunting task for a 2.5 hour audio clip, but any chance of a text summary?

Who is talking in the beginning? Seems to be a lack of introduction.

VivaLaResistanceThe guy from Pixonic, sorry there was a lot of preliminary stuff that wasn't relevant and it was long enough, seemed the best place to cut it. My wife is working on the timestamps (She was appalled that I didn't do it) so I will add them to the video description by tomorrow most likely

Thanks boys for representing. Can't say they offered much in reply. At least they were willing to listen.

I will maintain not to go any further than Gareth of the Brit bots and definitely not a fury. Still bringing those Rhino's up to level 12!

First I would like to thank Shalinroge for sharing this. I just spent 2 and a half hours listing to this. I will try to give a cliff notes version of the meeting to those who don't have time and give some hilights. The first hour and 22 minutes had introductions and then they let people go around the table and give their opinions of the MM based on the outline here. war-robots-forum.freeforums.net/thread/5344/community-roundtable-pixo-answersThere were 9 speakers and one was absent most repeated the same issued 1) people are tired of the MM throwing them into much higher or lower games 2) squads suck because now you can't squad with lower level teammates 3) beacons should be counted in some way on the scorecard 4) with the current MM you cannot switch bots to run a different play style 5) map skipping landing people in tanker que These 5 complaints were repeated many times. My compliments to Shalinroge for being extremely well spoken. Then about 1 hour 22 minutes the 10th speaker gets there and since his notes were already covered many times he starts off with something to the effect of "I'll be honest you broke the game" and spends 15 minutes telling them why. It's worth a listen to fast forward to 1h 22m. The last speaker went and again repeated the above problems Then pix starts talking at about 1h 45m mostly giving the same sthic about "working on the game" however they did hint about a custom game mode possibly coming soon where you can pick both your team and the reds (easy clan battles? Maybe run vs your own clan to practice tactics? Many cool things could come from this) I think the best part of the meeting and I hope someone from pix stayed to listen was the 2 hour mark. Pix left and many members of the discussion stayed to talk amongst themselves. I feel that the whole thing would have been better if it followed that format. Really give the last 20 minutes a listen then tell that wouldn't have been better.

The speakers had a lot of other cool ideas as well but those are the core ones that fix the problem. At least if you can do custom battles everyone involved can agree on certain gear restraints "Rules of Engagement". If Pix provides that mechanic the Community could work within that & come up with plenty of our own custom game modes since you can ensure everyone involved is interested in following the "Rules of Engagement".

No problem though writing it up cost me. I started playing January 1st and for the first time I didn't have 2 slots for my new daily tasks. I tried to cut under the wire but just missed had 12 of 13 hostile beacons, 238k of 250k damage, and 16 of 18 bots destroyed got all 3 the game after the new one hit. Oh well I blame pix, if they hadn't screwed the game up I probably would have done them 2 days ago.

I should have copy paste the edited version of what I sent to pixonic but super hero asked our LA clan for any of our own comments prior to the discussion. I posted this in our line chat and extended the points to pix. j.Khoo so reading forums the biggest implementation flop was the leagues. I think it is a great idea because pix wants players to be motivated by the league points. Instead players are frustrated at win 50%. At top level competition it does motivate me to rack up points. 1- current there is a one time reward for getting promoted and its nominal. I think players would want to be in higher league if they received higher silver payouts 2- if you could queue people of the same rank exclusively then your win % could vary for middle ranked players. People have heart burn for being pushed to 50%. 3- game modes are difficult because it would change the wiring demand completely. They could do game mode weekends where it's 3v3 weekend or capture the flag etc.. 4-change the clan ranking system to be league points based rather than activity. I left my old clan of 1.5 years because I couldn't squad with them. Ranking leagues by leagues would further promote finding players of your skill to play with 5- post videos of observed clan vs clan battles for top ranked clans. Will help highlight and give recognition to those top ranked players. 6- I don't have a creative idea to allow me to play with the new people I recruit but it's disappointing and hard because it will take over a year to get them in a position where we can competitively play together. I recruited 3 family members in November of last year but can't play with them and they have considered quitting due to lack of engagement Other suggestion-- please ask they fix the friends list. Green, red, orange for in battle. Also group people by clan or something so you can find them in your list easier. Money making idea-- let them charge $19.99 to open a second upgrade slot. This way you can upgrade 2 items at the same time. There would have to be an increase in silver payouts to make this viable. This will also feed the champion league with more players (wouldn't need to be matched with master expert so often)

I listened to most the Round Table this morning while driving between jobsites at work. All the players made good points. I especially liked Mark. His playstyle and real-life commitments mirror mine. Caustic summed up everything quite well when he told Pix they "broke the game"
It was pretty interesting that all the players were on the same page. Some major points that resonated with me were:
1) It's no longer fun 2) I miss playing different level hangars 3) MM is currently unfair 4) Pix's communication is lacking 5) The pricing model is terrible
I wish Pix would go back to the old hangar based system, but I doubt it will happen. At best I think they will try to group players according to their league level. Like many others my play time has dramatically decreased. I used to have an activity level of 1300, now I can barely hit 300. I am searching for other mobile games to play and will move on soon if things don't change.

I think the one thing that stuck in my head other than Caustics comments which in my opinion are spot on was when the Pix people started talking about the nerfing of things like the aphid. They sort of half laughed and said how the community said it was way too OP and they should have fixed it. I think anyone that used them months ago before the original buff could have told you after one game they were way OP with the much better trajectory. I think its plainly obvious why they did it. The aphid is a gold item that was a slow seller, so they buff it so much that now everyone was running them. This happened like 2 weeks after the buff, many of us that had them already leveled them up more, and those that didnt have them bought a bunch, which was exactly what PIX wanted. They waited till the sold enough and the problem got so bad they couldnt ignore it anymore, and brought them back to the original spec previously. This was a money grab pure and simple and them acting suprised about the outcome is what i found shocking. The ancile is going through the same thing now. Im sure once they sell there quota of them they will get nerfed back to there original spec as well. just like they did with aphids.

Well. I'm dissapointed by that bigtime. Just finished the audio transcript video Shaolin Rogue put up (Thank you, btw). Good points were brought up by y'all, but being limited to one topic hamstrung your efforts. Corporate brick walls don't like criticism, contructive or otherwise, I guess.
Seemed like the conference call version of an auto-generated reply E-mail to me. Cool.
Thank you all for the attempt and effort, at least. I appreciate it.

I think everyone should realize that it is not realistic to think that the Pix reps. could comment directly on what we had to say, or offer solutions at the meeting. It's not a one-man show, their job was to collect our input and take it back to home base, not offer on the spot solutions & hollow promises. What matters now is how Pix responds to our input.

Agreed Shoalin. I believe there is a language barrier for the, to articulate the- thank you for the input. this will be valuable as we align the input with our vision and make the game a place where the community can enjoy. You all are valuable to our direction and we will provide better communication with you War Robots community leaders as we make these changes... etc..
