Finally, my Rog is marching the fields again

I am excited to get mine out there, but it is just at level 7 right now. Wish i had brought it to 9 or 10, but thought I had another week. Are you playing your Rog first on most maps and grabbing beacons, or saving it til the end? I am a little worried about Rog's survivability to plasma, and might want to use him late in games to grab beacons and finish off weakened reds.

question.. are there paint jobs available for it too?

Cool, Thanks for the info Dark Angel! And believe it or not folks, Dark Angel and I have taken our conversations private and have actually become civil with each other. We even ran into each other in battle last week and he was kind enough to invite me along for a few games.

I played about 15 games with my Rog. It is level 8 and awesome. I tried tarans, orkans and tulu. Orkan are the best. And yes, it is better to save him to the end of the game for late beacons capture.

I play a rush hangar with a Rogatka and choose to not play on Yamantau and Springfield. The Rog is now the first bot I run to capture beacons at the beginning and cause a little havoc. I found that running Orkans is the best bet for survival because you can empty a clip much quicker than a Taran with them. Don't focus on killing one bot however, because chances are if you do, you're as good as dead. Instead of that, utilize a hit-and-run tactic, stay next to cover, and use the buddy system. Sticking next to a more powerful friendly bot is a great strategy for running out in the open with little to no attention from the enemy.

Battlefield awareness is a must when running the Rog. It took me about a week's worth of practice (9hrs or so) to be able to use it efficiently.

Back in the days of the old MM, I once met a 4/12 rogatka hangar clubbing 6/8s, 5 rogs decked out in tarans and orkans. He's going to love the update when it comes to the iOS. He's really good with them too.
