In Beacon Rush, I'm wondering if I could gain more silver by ignoring beacons and just shooting at reds.
I just finished a game where a teammate with 2 kills, zero beacons got more honour points than me with my 1 assist, 1 kill, 3 beacons.
Is there a formula for how much silver you earn for damage and per beacon captured?

Possibly, as with FFA, kills do give decent silver if you do the right damage. Maybe the same logic applies with the other game modes (Excluding special ones like war mages, one shot/life, etc.)

BTW, what league are you in? If it's Expert III+ ( or Diamond ranks since they're close ) can you give me some tips?

Hi,
Yes, I'm in Expert 3.
I'm cheap/free, so I don't expect to place high, but when my beacon capturing contributes a lot to the win, it is frustrating when I don't get much silver.
Adrian Chong's YouTube vids are helpful to me.

you do get a lot more silver for a kill than a beacon, and high damage totals also contribute a lot. that's why you'll often see top finishers with no caps. however, it's the beacon runners who usually secure the win (in beacon modes), and it's only the winners getting gold. personally, I'm very beacon hungry, but I don't resent the meatheads. everyone plays their own game

Maybe I'll experiment with concentrating on kills after I've captured, say, 2 beacons.
