Currently have no Mk 2 gear AT ALL and I'm in expert III. waiting for my low level bots to upgrade. Should I spend gold so it's faster? (only got 2k). Before you criticize me I'm back after 3 yrs so don't be too harsh ;D  |

Hummm... your options are not all equal unless you plan to spend real money, which I doubt any of us recommend, and certainly not in great $$$ quantities. Because, Drones use Microchips, Motherships use mothership components, and Titans use Platinum... Silver is only used for Bots and Weapons. And only Gold can be used to speed up Bots & Weapons. (And there is a new currency for Pilots too... Memorium.) That being said, it -WAS- good to have level 9 bots to have access to all three passive Modules... but Modules are scheduled for a major change in the near future. Personally, as my hanger is now, all of my bots are all stronger than my weapons... but sometimes I wish it was the the other way around (i.e., stronger weapons). YMMV edit = maximum discounts (randomly assigned) I've recorded as the days/weeks/months go by = -45% Bots, -25% Titans, -25% Drones, -20% Pilots, and -40% Titan Pilots My post about War Robots currency here: war-robots-forum.freeforums.net/thread/51499/pixonics-periodic-table-currency |

I've mainly just followed the system recommendations. as a result, I've maxed weapons much quicker than bots, and modules have largely been ignored. it seems to work for me, generally

And here is some min/max "upgrade advise" from my discord server... So basically just sell useless bots from bronze league and save data pads until the leader board comes? (or open em all if it's like 1h till the end) Speaking of the upgrade discount - Isn't there an upgrade speed increase version? I would really need that if there is... Also, you mention something called "extermination"? Is that like one of the special game modes? (orbital strike is faster, one hit, war mages, etc.) |

Unless the bots abilities are integral to your play style, you can always run the weapons and drones on another bot, same with mods. Save the gold, it's gonna come in handy for MK2 / spare hanger. Be careful witch drones you upgrade as they are NOT discounted like everything else by tier. The commodity for drones is the rarest commodity. Example: to upgrade a drone to lvl4 it's 90 commods (without discounts) & you can only gain 5-10 a day at best. Unlike the old days when 5 drones would cover every hanger, each active bot will need a drone... Drone advice! EDIT: I would keep the close ranged stuff on the Ocho & Range the Ophion & Crysis, both are squishy. Best of luck with the upgrades! |

Yes, occasionally there is a 2x upgrade speed bonus too. Yes, exactly. My bad... they've changed the game mode from "Extermination" to "Hunting Grounds". |

Nobody recommended Motherships and this is best. but a piece of advise when lvling motherships...always lvl the charge modifier first even saving to bypass power upgrades.
I learned this the hard way when they first came out & lvled the powers, but was lucky to even drop it once per battle. it is better to drop a weaker mothership more often, than to not drop one at all even if it has the powers maxed.

The weapons lineup looking way better. What we like to call here "Swiss army knife" builds are not preferred unless you are trying to challenge yourself of post it here.
Good job trying to match up range/damage type/reloads as much as possible.
