Lucky I had already cleared out installed implants on pilots I'm not currently using.

You used to be able to filter implants by the amount you had of each implant,used to find it handy to scrap implants I had a lot of but since the new update that option seems to have been removed.Now I have to scroll through the whole list looking for multiples,no biggie just annoying.
And yeah there is no way I'm spending forty notes on a implant, what are they smoking over at Paylarium palace !!!

Watching Scapes video about the new implant market and he seems to think Paylarium might be planning to scrap the implants you can use on multiple bots and weapons (ie extend bot ability) in favour of individual bot and weapon implants (ie extend Panther shield wall time).
Wouldn't be greatly surprised if they pulled that BS so hang on to your multiple skill implants.
