The current task in the Yan-Di event is "win 3 games".
My hangers are filled with bots 1.7, some less, yet I've managed to get up to Master II because IDK.
So here I am trying to get 3 wins when I see invincible Curie show up and kill me with a Mk3 weapon. Response? watch a bit, yeah, 4 blues can't kill it, quit. No point playing against such robots. That's been the last 3-4 games. I quit after a minute because there's no point me even being there (I lack the ability to influence a win.)
Summary: Pixonic picks who's going to win/lose by which players they put in the two teams because there's no way that their algorithms can't work out that Curie over there is practically invulnerable vs guns over there.
Now, time to go back into tanking mode so that I see less Mk3 curies in my games... back to expert 1 I go...

My Son has been noticing the rapid advance of players with essentially bronze to diamond level hangars (some dont even have full hangars) ending up at various levels of Master quite quickly, who are then pitted against Champ league mk3/titan meta hangars. They have no chance at all. That level 12 Kidd doest last long against well-loaded Rook, lol.
He bailed on 1 game almost immediately, as a max'd Shrimp-Louie (Shen Lou with appropriate lightning weapons) immediately over-ran the server, 40 seconds in, 10 kills to 0. He laid into the thing with his Mk3 Harpy w/ Mk3 Teramok Hel, two Mk2.7 LE Skadi's, and several max'd damage boost type modules, high defense mitigation, ignore shield with ability active.... and it barely registered a dent in that thing.
He's in the process of tanking back to Expert levels again, lol.

*facepalm* Well of course you won’t win with that approach. You seem to realise that the game is rigged, but you’re not using it in your favour. If you keep quitting your team will almost certainly lose and you’ll keep racking up loses. Just accept that the outcome of every match is largely predetermined (assuming everyone actually tries to win), play on, and wait for the wins to come. They will, and you don’t need to tank or ruin other people’s games as you go.

Win 3 games is pretty tame. It's a participation award but sometimes it feels it's all stacked against you.
3 wins in a row can even be tricky on occassion.
Now the ones where you have to kill "X" bot whilst using "X" weapons from 612.56 metres away can be a bit of a chore.

Those tasks were a verified PITA.

When the task is to win, why waste time playing a game you know you're going to lose? This isn't a game of poker.

Because you’ll win sooner just riding out the algorithm than causing yourself, and your team mates, to keep losing. The games you eventually win won’t come any sooner if you don’t complete matches.

I fail to see what good it does to stand there and be obliterated. Whether you stay or leave, the team is going to get obliterated. Most of them will stop playing; either refuse to spawn, or just plain leave. Thats completely reasonable given the BS in such matches.
If you like wearing that virtual leather getting the shiz whipped and kicked out of ya... well, whatever gets your groove on. Many people dont want to ride that "algorithm" however.
When you stick it out, youre playing right into Pigsonics scheme.

usually from what i've clearly seen those telling you to fight on (most of the time) ARE p2winners with those types of hangers , their attitude is ....never give up fight on and don't leave your team but what they mean in reality is feed the payers they need the easy mode that they paid for and you're not supposed to leave them empty games ...it's not fair that they don't get their 100m damage and a billions of kills in easy mode that the paid for!!! your a sore loser!
in games now i'll sit out for the first 10-30 seconds because usually within that time you'll find raptors , curies and such rushing to the spawn to obliterate everyone and you'll usually see if it's even worth playing , you'll also see how many scripters are running on your team sat there (nowdays) with typhons , fafnirs , ophions
as i've said many many times ....i'm under absolutely no obligation to stay and feed the ego's of these players to make them feel special ....if i want to leave i'll leave and you can sit there with your insults but i will still leave , you can use the placebo report function i'll still leave ...i'm not here to feed your ego.
in the nerf cycles you'll find the majority of people crying are the payers because they NEED that HUGE advantage over weaker players because they cannot manage without it......been against many payers AND beat them for them to leave after losing the first bot but it takes a ton of effort ....they don't like to lose and they pay huge numbers not to do so.
