I spent 13 mk3 tokens to gamble for purple data pads because I wanted a Curie pilot, Raptor & Pilot as well as 2500 more components to complete my Pathfinder. I got enough points to win 1 gold purple data pad and 1 ultimate pad from leaderboard: And yes I won the Raptor and Curie pilots too! The gamble was worth it 😎

Plenty of people have been sitting on some upgrade tokens and took advantage of ultimate lottery having data pad prizes. I myself benefitted too by getting one gold data pad just for reaching just 1100 points on the leaderboard. I'm also seeing deals of 36 blue pads for just 2$.
I'm very curious what's behind Pixonic's recent generosity. Is it because the current meta is so over the top that people cannot compete without it and possibly leave the game? Or perhaps it's the same old routine where Pixonic is driving the revenues by handing out something that will have little to no value soon.

I did pretty much the same thing and have heaps of the newest items from it but as usual, I just don't get much enjoyment running meta stuff.
I'm trying out a raptor but it Just seems so boring and skill less to pilot.
I've chucked the magnetic weapons on a Ravana and that turns it into an instant "meta" build. Game after game it's getting godlikes and living legend results.
Just proves to me how ridiculous latest gear is and why some can't wait to get their hands on it early.

I too had been saving up mk3 tokens since I don't have the rss to upgrade anything to mk3. I have only ever used the token to upgrade to mk2 on my ultimate avenger, so I had 56 tokens to spare.
My clan mate told me he spent 15 tokens but didn't score a Raptor. So maybe the win rate for the 2 latest bots isn't that high but it is generous to at least to let some players win some and have fun. That said, we still can't win the latest titan on Ultimate Luck.

Yup, I guess I have to walk back a bit comments about Pixo being generous. Just opened 30 blue pads and only got one whole deceiver out of it. Seriously. And the blue pads don't contain raptors, curies or shenlous, any of the things people really want. Not to mention titans. Edit: Also shows you, with number of blue pads I opened I could have had 3-4 ophions by now, but not single one dagon or ochokochi. Maybe it's pure randomness, or maybe there's manipulation there too.

The red ones seem to be a much better "investment" and obviously the ones that give full items are the best, especially if they are free from the ultimate shmuck game.

Method Games[YT] Well, in my case beggars cannot be choosers. There's still some value in hoarding enough of blue pads so maybe you can get gold pad from the leaderboard event(s). Still, usually the number of points required for those is quite large. Looked at my history of opening 50 blue pads: 9 are ophion parts, 5 were ochokochi and 2 were for dagon. Seems the odds are adjusted to give less valuable prizes, no surprise there.
