I recently played a ffa game in expert league against a level 11 Curie with 2 level 8 subduers. I have all mk2s but it still annihilated me. How can I get any meta robot without spending that much money in expert or master.
Please help me.

You really can't. I'm an f2p player and The closest robot I have had to meta is a lynx and whatever robot that has a target malfunction ability. I only got those from the 200 percent boost and the free resources (14 day gift run). I only have one mk2 item and that is my fenrir but I don't have any other mk2 things. I somehow made it to master league thanks to my trusty component built loki in beacon rush.
If you want to get these meta robots and weapons your going to have to buy them for a high price or get impossibly lucky in data pads (I have never won any from free data pads).
To counter a Curry (Curie) or any meta bot you have to have at least 2 teammates focus them these days, especially a Curie. That's how Pigsonic designed them.

Thank you. I might buy a gold-purple data pad but pix made them hella expensive. I'll try that next time I see a curie. How can I buy them without datapads right now? Or are you referencing to those.

Currently they are not available for money in the shop (as far as I've seen, if they are then they are probably very expensive at the moment). The subduers might be but I know for sure the Curry (curie) is not. Eventually they will appear in the shop when newer meta bots start to come out and then their price will slowly decrease over time because they get less and less meta. Thats how Pixonic does it. IMPORTANT EDIT: The subduers may not be a good idea to buy as they are hella op and will most likely get nerfed (if they haven't already). |

Really? I get golden puple data pads all the time in shop. There are really expensive(11 dollars for an offer where you get one) maybe worth it.

Purchasing 1 or 2 data pads is a total waste of money. If you're gonna spend, spend big. Otherwise don't bother. The win rate is incredibly low. You have a better chance at winning the lottery.
Content creators have giveaways all the time. Try your luck there.

Obviously it depends on luck but since Pixonic allows small creators to host small giveaways of 3 latest Robots each your luck goes up substantially. Here is my luck with the recent Pathfinder:  The random comment selector chose me but the host then disqualified my valid entry because it wasn’t in Spanish. I’ve won a few times from him but he must have been in a bad mood that day or he was trying to appease his audience because it was a livestream. |

spend money WISELY.
The less you spend, the better the deal. So buy purple tickets 1-2x per event, better if there are many types of tickets for a low price. then when you have a bunch, get what you get and wait til next season, rinse and repeat.

This was the first I've ever experienced!
Entries should only be disqualified if they haven't met the content creator's condition such as being online during the livestream or answering a hidden question that was in the giveaway video. Or some creators have a no win streak policy where there's cooldown for previous winners before you can win again. Those are legit conditions.
Frozen Dagon giveaway was already done bank in Jan 2024 so you will need to wait for it to be put into superchest. Or if Pixonic gives a Mentor 100-200 older item to giveway and the mentor chooses Dagon then there maybe a chance in the future.

I got a few purple data pads over the weekend form leaderboards and other stuff. Got four and pulled noir shenlou, curry, and a frozen dagon. I've been having a lot of fun with my new bedwyr too.
EDIT: I recently got raptor too.
