The Ultimate spectre and Ming have to be one of the worst things to spend your money on in game. The spectre dies almost instantly and can barely do damage with the orkans because of how fast everything is,and the Ming dies to one eiffel flight. I wouldn't even say the Ares is worth it...

Anything with good enough Tonans/Fulgars is going to turn the Ming to ash. I'm doubtful that the Ultimate Gendarme is better than 4*Tonans against titans.

We will see a lot more ultimate gendarme and bendy bullets once the nerf comes in for the tonans. Probably a new weapon in the pipeline they plan on releasing as per usual for player voluntary tax collection purposes.

Yeah when they do the titan equivalent of Reaper, it'll be pack up and go home unless you've got it.

Ultimate Ming is great, largely thanks to the pilot. I kill eiffels 1v1 with a regular ming using that pilot. The problem is the ultimate gendarmes. They kinda suck. Edit: Note though, "great" =/= worth it. It's too expensive for how "okay" it is. I'd say its an A tier bot unlikely to drop from there anytime soon because pix doesnt seem to do a whole lot of ultimate nerfing.

They could have given it extra defense in flight, that would have made it useable. So far I've seen two, one maxed out that died to two strikes of tonans and fulgur, and one at level 152 that died in one Eiffel flight. Even with 4 Alphas it doesn't do great damage. And considering you could level an entire Eiffel aimbot gun build for the titan alone is just hilarious. You said you kill Eiffels 1v1 with a regular Ming- I'm sorry, I just don't believe that. I don't even really class the Ming as a titan anymore. It has such little health even a regular fenrir can beat one. Unless your Ming was maxed against a barely leveled eiffel with really bad weapons, I don't see how you could have won a 1v1 against an eiffel. That's just crazy to me

The Ultimate Ming is "A" tier IMO (which I count as "great") and the regular Ming is "B" tier (good/okay). No, Ming doesn't want defense in flight, that wouldn't help. Personal experience against them also isn't a good metric because nobody plays it correctly. If you sit in the air like a blimp with ANY Ming it's game over. There are 2 correct ways to play it; - If you don't have the pilot, you can use altitude adjustment tricks to poke your guns above any tall cover. You need to time it right, but it pays off, here's me doing it in rome and killing an S clan Newton duo:
- If you do have the pilot, you'll want to be "teabaggming" ie, going up and down over and over again, spending most of your time in ground mode and flying up only at the start of an engagement. Get yourself a mothership strike and you can combo it with the stealth to have long enough stealth time to kill newtons:

That's just crazy to me :D To judge a bot only by it's health bar is a silly thing to do. You don't have to take my word for the Eiffel thing: I checked their hangars to confirm they're maxxed, you can look their names up if you want to double check. It's also telling since they all have full weapon setups. This isn't to say Ming is better than Newton or Eiffel. It isn't. When you're using one against meta titans you have to accept that you're just at a natural disadvantage because the bot is dated. Regardless, over the course of 25 games I recorded my winrate against newtons to be about 60% and my winrate against eiffels as 5/7 (didn't see many). But Ming is underrated IMO - it doesn't deserve the hate just for having a pewny health bar. It's a glass cannon.

I agree. I use teabagging a lot, especially on Shenzen where it allows you to get over the buildings around the empty square and take out the reds. Parked in the air properly, it is a great tool to use on many maps. My favorite is with QS and catching all of the "mice."

Tonans & Fulgar make a mess of any titan. Put 4 * Tonan Lvl 25 on a Ultimate Ao Ming and it is going to do a lot of damage to every other titan out there. Even a regular Ao Ming with 2*Tonan/2*Fulgar is going to wreck a Lunchador at distance. The problem isn't that the UAM doesn't have defence, it is that the weapons are still ridiculously overpowered.
