Our 「bum-bum hole」 overlords at Pixonic have promised us a brand new friends system free from FB.
So how are they doing this?
Simple! They have removed the FB friends system. Thatâs it.
Thereâs currently no way to run custom games. The friends system outlined in 9.6 is not running. Thereâs no way to invite new friends.
Hey Pix, if you wanted to kill custom match mode and 6Pack and Sage Retro, just grow the balls to up and tell us and just do it.
And if not, 「fluffernutter」ING LEARN TO CODE YOU STUPID MOTHER「fluffernutter」ERS.

This does not surprise me. You found a little spot where pixo BS had little impact.
Now your impacted.. Cant have peeps enjoying the game for free.
Pixo content creator spies prolly ratted you out.
So throw some new weps on a bot and make some vids telling everyone how your a high champs player and no one else could possibly understand and play the game as good as you. That we are daft to decry the state of the game and the acceptance of cheating as " normal" or acceptable.

I can't believe I am saying this, trust me I dont like it either..... BUT, I am sure by now we all had to DL the newest update. AND, just like in the past, we had to wait a few days for the current season to end and the next cycle of BS begins. Sooooo, although I dont play I still had to do the update, but keep in mind it doesnt go into effect until next TUESDAY. So it can be downloaded and anticipated, but won't go operational until early next week.

Pixonic somehow managed to screw up what should have been an easy win for the players, something perfectly on-brand on them. They could have went one of many ways to roll out the update but picked the worst one! I sure feel silly for being excited for this feature…

And itâs STILL broken.
I have had to cancel 3 fight nights so far.
Pix help told me that when every platform gets the update the new friends system will come online.
The told me that days ago, when every platform already had the update.
They are either liars, incompetent, or both. With 「fluffernutter」ing 「multiple bum-bums」 thrown in for good measure.
I am very pissed about this.

The tinfoil hat energy radiating from this comment is wild. Content creator spy here. Just did a quick ctrl+f in the content creator discord. Zero mentions of "6pack" or "sage retro" from me or my fellow demon spawn. Wondering why I bothered though, because I doubt you'll believe me. We content creators, our tongues are forked, you know? Also @cdr. Crimmins , as annoying as it was, the friends system was just on early update downtime, similar to the cross platform merge. It took some time, which sucks, but I'd rather wait 2 weeks with no friends system for them to rework it than continue with the decade old garbo facebook friends system. Running custom games, you and I know better than most how badly it needed a rework. I think pix improved retro & 6pack with their recent actions. As much as pix gets on my nerves sometimes, I gotta give them credit here. Adding Assists, merging custom games, reworking friends? All great QoL changes that we've desperately needed for a while now. Features that make them no money (but cost money to implement) and just make the game better. That being said, I'm not a pix sleeper agent that was just snapped into shill mode. I must admit that most of these features are just... expected in games nowadays. This pattern needs to continue for War Robots to truly be in a good state. The recent QoL survey on the facebook page gives me high hopes, because it seems they're interested in giving us some more in the future. |

I just fail to understand why a functioning system needs to be removed for a week and a half in order for the next system to be put in place. In any other industry it would be unheard of and totally unacceptable if done. Well, I’m not hackerman code expert, but my only guess is that in order to avoid having to release two patches, they just removed Facebook support and added the reworked friends system in one patch. Then, they waited to activate the new friends system because they were doing some sort of tests on it behind the scenes to make sure it doesn’t release as a buggy mess. Now, we can throw this theory out the window if it does release as a buggy mess… |

Would it possibly be a catalyst against clans? I could see that and would actually be a good idea, all your pals against a clan, more even odds. |
