With the current meta, Fenrir has not been doing so well for me. It used to be the best tank in the game.
Even with maxed Bernadette pilot and 2 maxed repair amps, it's just going down too quick. I even noticed some of the YTubers running the black Fenrir, and it's not very impressive either.
I've tried various weapons, but no luck finding anything useful. Mid/long range weapons work, e.g. radiation guns, but come on, Fenrir is a brawler. Sitting back at 600m is not very interesting to me. Any ideas?

Standard resistance points are just not enough anymore really. Tons of weapons apply corrosion or outright bypass resistance, and firepower has just gotten so high that robots can just kill Fenrir through brute force. Looking at the meta, the best robots have stealth or absorber shields that allow them to avoid taking any damage, and Ochotoki has a unique defense system that literally slows down the damage it takes and lets it heal all damage.
Fenrir lasted a long time but the power creep has finally caught up to it sadly.

I'd say my top 3 "invincible to meta" bots have come down to 2 now. Typhon and Ravana have lasted ages, but I agree with 079, Fenrir has finally retired. |

Ravana is my okie dokie killer. And typhon is great, but only if it is the ghost version. My poor Fenrir hasn’t seen the light of day in quite a while. |

It’s not garbage and still can perform, but I do think it has suffered enough to not be one of the all-time great budget bots anymore (alongside Ravana and Typhon). I still see them around and they do fine, but they definitely are not what they used to be. |
